Console or PC?
My PC sucks, so I prefer faster running consoles. xDD I prefer playing things on my TV anyway. I think you can reach a wider audience with PC, I suppose, just depends on performance, but consoles will always dominate the market, I think.

I really only play wow on my pc and play alot of console games. So I would prolly have to go with console as my over all. But I work on computers all day so Im really stuck in the middle. Its very complicated

I had Xbox360 for a year and was happy with it. I played great games like GoW, Mass Effect or BioShock before my friends could on PC. Then i sold it cause i missed pc gaming and now i have only pc for a year. I will probably buy no new console in the future again - only console exception will be old PS2. I just HAVE to buy it no matter what because of games like Okami, SOTC or ICO. It is my duty as a game to play those games :-)
then buy PS3 and you will be able to play Last Guardian aka Trico made by ICO if you like those games
i like PC gaming RTS, FPS , RPG and ofcourse lots of MODS ADDONS like Half Life 2, Crysis, Operation Flashpoint etc...
and console yeah consoles i love beat em ups, hack and slash, JRPG's, Racing games.
both console and pc are unique on their own

Sports games on Consoles do take the cake though.
I do miss having first run PC games with limited DRM (i.e. A CD key).
I admit to piracy with purchase; If I liked it, I bought it, otherwise I deleted it. I'm a Silent Hunter Die-Hard thanks to that, I never would have tried it otherwise.
So if anything, software piracy has added sales in my case, I've tried things I never would have bought, or gained interest in subsequent titles (Hitman series) by trying an older one well after release.

As many people have stated the biggest bonus that consoles have is that you dont have to upgrade to play the latest and newest game.
I still personally prefer the computer of my console (Xbox 360) simply for the fact that i grew up playing my computer games and the ability for most user customized content for these computer games :D
From a developers stand point tho I can see why most are moving towards the console generation. It is easier to develop a game when you know the exact hardware that it will be running on, especially in the case of graphics cards since the games require so much on their visual aspect. In the case of computer games it is harder to that since every player will have a different set up and thus encounter different problems. So from a developers view it would be cheaper to develop for the different consoles as you know exactly what hardware your software is running on.

Yeah, I agree with that. But devs can also just make a baseline 'requirement' (which they do) and just build to that. The trouble it, they have to cave too much to make it low enough for people to have it. Things like Crysis come along, and nobody can run it :/

True, and who can blame them developing something like crysis would be sweet :p
But they will dump more money into making a minimum spec that supports all of the say direct x 10 cards available than simple making a console version where they only have to worry about 1 video card type.

I'm a happy console player
the genre I play most is fighting.
so PC for fighting games is uncommon to play on for me.
~plus I gots a weak cpu : (

My PC sucks, it can barely run any of the new games that have been recently released and its sort of expensive to keep upgrading every now and then. So yeah, I would go with consoles, they are more affordable and I can play games with them without worrying about the specs.

Both. PC games are great for MMO's that wouldn't really be viable on consoles (think EVE online) and other games not available on consoles (blizzard games heh).
Consoles are great for third person action games and the occasional FPS here and there. Now I know that both can play each others genre with some success, but versatility is always a winner. I usually go through phases where i'm either play a lot of consoles games or PC games, heh
not to mention being able to play a 360 or PS3 controller into your PC is grand

Pc for me ... easier access to games and cheaper (although you have to upgrade your system from time to time)
only thing i'm missing in pc is final fantasy 9 and higher ... also enjoy playing rockband 2 at a friends place

I'm not against consoles, but I'm only playing pc-games. But these last year, with the raise of the number of consoles, there are less pc-games
. In fact developpers don't want to develop their game on all the consoles so the game doesn't run on everything. In the end, you are sort of obliged to own different consoles. For that, I come to dislike a bit all thoses consoles.

Console was made to attend to the game,so I think game will run better on console than PC
I generally prefer Console games, mostly for simplicity. I'm not an idiot when it comes to computers, but, with the money I'd have to invest to keep my PC up to date to play all the games, I can buy a console, play most of the same games, and they'd all run pretty well

I do prefer consoles because the pc consumes more energy ( I often play on my Ps2 like two or three or more hours) and if I play that time in the Pc the bill would be very expensive :(. But this is a minor factor of my preference for consoles, if I want to play a game with my friend (not online) I only bring the controllers and game and beat him a lot.
Of course I don't say consoles are better, it's just my preference. If I play something in Pc is because the game is only for it, like Starcraft yay..
