Console or PC?

The problem is, sometimes you have to upgrade your PC just to play a game, and thats not cheap. So for most gamer that have limited funds, console is lot more cheaper.

I prefer to play a game in console, coz my computer is old enough and i using linux too, that's why i don't like burdening my computer
buy a PS2 or PS3 is enough for me.then, let's play, babe

Until now I only ever played a game on the PC. Consoles were never too good or could never keep up with PC's but after building a pc from the ground up, spending over 1k on it, and then find out it sturuggles to play the newset and greatest games out there after just a few months kind of made me swing towards getting console games. Fistrly there is no install required, except a few ps3 games, and then you don't need to worry about any hardware requirements. Now you can get a console that can match a pc equally without spending a fortune on one.
I dont have console. umh.. I have one.. Nitendo old 15 years ago. But after that I only choose PC game since console is must have television to play and I dont have it at my boarding house. Its more simple use PC at my boarding house than console.
They're both fine really.
it's just that the consoles have more 'convenience' for the average consumer then the PC.
you need quite some knowledge about the PC to have a beast of a machine. while just buying a PS3 is just plugging in some wires and you're done.
PC has more control, and consoles has more user-friendlyness.

So.. i prefer PC games, cause they've more high quality and often they've more objects than consoles. For example, sims2, for playstation2 hasn't got more objects and tricks, and for PC, there are a lot of expansions and tricks!
As far as I know Console game is easier and the control is easier than PC. But like luchiananami94-san said, some PC game is more detailed. I'm The Sims 2 player and feel how it really different between PC and the console.

I have to say I prefer my PC to my consoles by far. I get better visuals on my PC and games generally play better on the PC. I do own a 360, PS2 and gamecube for one reason. They have games on them that are not out on the PC such as the resident evil series and eternal sonata.

PC is the way to go even though it is more expensive unless you are a ninja and magically get the video games for free. ![( []-[])9 emoticon ( []-[])9 emoticon](http://static1.animepaper.net/images/emo/specky.gif)

I enjoy both, but I'm a lot more likely to play PC and handheld games simply due to their nature of much easier to multi-task. I can sit at my desk and play, and switch to doing something else immediately (e-mail, IM, checking some information) if I'm playing a PC or DS game, but it's much harder to do if I'm playing something on the PS3 out in the living room.
I prefer consoles because my computer is too old and ****ty to be able to play any game without an extreme amount of lag.
For me PC>Console
consoles combined have a gigantic game library compared to PC but what makes PC better is you could use the internet, play mmorpgs and RTS games, theres also a lot of awesome FPS games in PC but consoles have gotten smarter and have that covered.
the only downside on the PC is the constant hardware upgrade needed to keep up with the latest games out there

I use both.
I have a Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Playstation 2 and a good PC.
The Wii is good for Multiplay with Friends, The DS is good when I'm traveling, my PS2 is good for single play and I also use the PS2 as a DVD Player.
I use my PC for almost Everything (Movies, Games, VoIP, Internet,...), but it will never fully take me away from the consoles.

PC gamer through and through...ish.
First off, I view PC games as a more dedicated and deep experience than console games for the most part, consoles feel a bit more casual to me, not including some very good, interesting games that have come out over the years (a ray of holy light falls upon Ocarina of Time), though few and far between they are. Also I just love my mouse and keyboard for the vastly better control I have over most actions, granted, sport and driving games are better on a console, but I don't like them so I'll ignore them (want to play sports, get some friends, want to drive, get a licence, want to blow someones face off, but in a fun, slightly less sadistic way, buy a PC FPS). Truth be told, there is nothing better than a mouse for FPSs (not that some console FPSs aren't still reasonably fun to an extent, I'm looking at you Goldeneye on N64) and its simply amusing to have my console based friend try to extol the vertues of twiddling around with two annoying sticks and basically just strafing desperately and hitting whatever passes by their crosshairs at the time, as opposed to gracefully moving your crosshair over the head of the enemy in an instant reaction and headshotting the cretin to oblivion (most likely why there are few PC FPSs that have one shot kill headshots as they're so easy to achieve). No wonder so many console FPSs have bullet time these days, mainly I suspect because it's annoying to try and aim quickly and accurately with twiddly sticks, though it's fun to see the ways in which they try and add this feature in to a plot and base their game around it. This brings me raggedly in to RTS territory, on a console, just don't bother... more trouble than its worth, though I'll be intrigued as to how they pull the interface off for Halo Wars without it just being annoying. But thats just my opinion on games.
More generally, I started off on consoles and I appreciate that they aren't bad things, but I've come to feel more attached to my PC than to my consoles, as I built and maintain my own PC, so I've put a great deal of effort in to it and due to my effort I am able to use it for pretty much any task I require in this technological world of today, alongside my excessive gaming, which is nice. This is another thing to point out to those people who say how expensive and dastardly PCs are; when you buy a PC, you arn't buying a console made only for gaming and being a dick on, you're buying a versatile tool for a gargantuan amount of tasks, sure most of these tasks won't require the expensive hardware you're buying, but once you buy a mid-performance computer, it will last you a reasonable length of time, not counting games like say, Crysis, which doesn't run particularly well on anything at full graphics, but most games it will handle fine, as well as your ability to tone up or down the graphics to your hearts desire and if you don't like playing games on reduced graphics then just try your best to imagine that whatever level of graphics you're viewing are the best ones and don't think otherwise or you'll just upset yourself or something.
But yeah... I've run out of steam and lost track of where I'm going so this may or may not represent a partial opinion of mine. However on a side note, people should not be allowed to pit every single console made against the PC, that isn't how it works, it's surely a fight between say, PC, XBOX 360, PS3 and Wii seperately, not altogether, because, of course it doesn't have as many games or do as many gimmicky things as all these combined, because you're fitting all of these opposing franchises in to the same barrel just so you can assail PCs (though granted, apart from the Wii they're basically generic boxes with bricks attached), if you go out and buy all these consoles and any good games you can find for them, you'll find you're spending far more than what you'd need to buy a half decent PC and the equivalent games (which are cheaper anyway), so screw you generalisers!
Console = Fine for many and partially for me.
PC = More fine for me (though slightly shot in the foot by constant graphical innovation).
(but like I said, not that I dislike consoles)
