Fatal Frame 4 for Wii
Hey there, i can`t find a thread about the game so I start a new topic here!
I`m a big fan of the Fatal Frame Series and I`m so glad that there will be another Game but why the hell for the Wii!? XD I hope really that there will be a release for the Playstation 3~

Being in Wii sounds great (although they might make a new controller for it). It would be better if they have in PS3 (the graphic...)
From what I know, they're not going to throw in their usual Japanese ghosts, they'll most likely had the western ones. The main character is a girl (probably 17 or 20s) and she's not Mio. If i'm not mistaken, her surname is Tachibana. She may be half westerner, too. There's also a picture of a red-gowned woman who is believed to be the main antagonist (either the big ghost or an occult practitioner in the story or the likes). By the way, the main color of this game is said to be yellow and our beloved Fatal Frame sub-title this time is: The Lunar Mask Eclipse

I think it's a supurb idea.
Considering the fact that Grasshopper is also working on it, I can only imagine how wonderful the game will be. To be honest, I thought the series was starting to go stale, so maybe this'll help breathe some new life into it. It almost makes me want to get a Wii again. Let's realize that what makes a great game isn't the graphics, but everything in general. Considering it's a horror game and one of the staple marks for the Fatal Frame series has been it's sound, I'm curious to see more on this title in the future.

Hmm... now this definitely seems like it will be interesting. The fatal Frame series is definitely unique, and it definitely solidified a place for itself in the horror gerne. I really want to see what they do with this game.

They also said there will be 'more characters'. I wonder if we can play different characters again? (Like fatal Frame 3, although lots of people hate Kei)
It's true that a great game does not require great graphics, but we have to make an exception with survival horror games. After all, the game's intent is the scare the crap out of us, and nothing is scarier than forgetting you are sitting on your couch in the real world, and actually IN the game itself. Imagine if Silent Hill 1 didn't have the fog to mask the now-subpar PS1 graphics. The outdoors wouldn't nearly be as frightening.
Sound has always been the other chapter in the 'how to make a scary game' book, but honestly- which Silent Hill, Resident Evil, or Fatal Frame game didn't have great quality sounds to make me soil myself when I have headphones on? I'd much prefer if FF4 was available on other consoles too, but I could let it slide if they really come up with something clever with the Wii's controls.
This also means I'll need to beat FF3 before 4 comes out.

Looking at some of the screenshots, and just judging by those the game actually looks pretty good for a Wii game.
And like what nyaa mentioned, if they do something really clever with the controls and not make it too gimmicky, then I think it'll turn out alright.

WHAT? Fatal frame for Wii? No way man, it just doesnt fit, i've played all the series, and i think this is the best horror game ever, why? Bcoz, not like SH or RE using guns, you only using an old camera, and the controler its outstanding, i cant imagine playing it using wiimote.

I don't have Wii, that's too bad because I'm very interesting in Fatal Frame series

Wow fatal frame on wii...my friend is gonna kill me when he finds out...he's a huge fan and just spent the past few months hunting down the first three...i havent played them myself, but they did seem like fun when i watched him play them...is there a release date out yet?

I'm getting pretty far behind in the world of game news, as this is the first I've heard a fourth title was even in the works. And while this should be great news, since I'm such a fan of the other titles, I can't help but be disappointed that it for the Wii -- not that I hate it or anything, I just don't have one and wasn't planning on getting one due to it having nothing on it that I care to play.
