lol Mario Kart
Hey I was just wondering if any of you have played Mario Kart for Wii or any other version (Gamecube, Nintendo64, DS, GBA-SP). Just recently I bought the Mario Kart for Wii and it's a lot of fun since you can actually steer the thing (if you use the Wii controller and not the Gamecube controller) and there are bikes and stuff. My friends played it and liked it too. I still haven't figured out how to flip in the air or use boosts during the races for the wii controller, but I'm working on it. Tell me what you guys think about any of them. I've played them all too. :D

Either/ or. Wii's version is fun, but sometimes you can't beat something as classical is Mario waaaaay back in the day. Plus my arms get tired really fast from holding the remote for it. (something I run into quite frequently when playing a Wii game) XD
That's true. I can't be as lazy when playing that game if I use the Wii controller. One time I wanted to lay down while playing but realized I'd probably drive off a cliff if I did ^_^. I suppose I could use a gamecube controller..it'd be easier..but the reason I'm not is because then I feel like I'm not really playing a Wii game. My brother doesn't care, so he uses the gamecube controller and does much better lol.

I have it. It's really good and the online is really fun! I don't know why people complain about the wii wheel being hard to use or whatever. I find it really easy to control. I have never even thought about picking up a gamecube controller. *Shrug* But then again I have only played the DS version before so maybe it is harder to get used to if you are used to the gamecube controls.

I've played it a little. From what I've experienced it's a really good game. The controls are really fun but I definitely prefer using the old game-cube controller over the Wii controller. The graphics are really good, and the courses are really good as well. The selection of characters is a nice treat as well. I think that we'll be seeing Rosalina soon in the next Mario Party. The Karts and Motorcycles are also fun the definitely add some variety to the game. All in all it's definitely a game that I would be willing to buy.

At first I was very disappointed with the wii version of the game, that is until i started unlocking new karts and characters and learning how to use a bike and do tricks. Still i am very disappointed in the new battle system...how there are teams and stuff. Double dash still is the most ingenious by my book, but mario kart for the wii is decent too. i like how they imputed past stages, but i wanted the cruise stage from double dash in it...

The Wii version is definitely MUCH better than any other Mario Kart! 
The controls are so fun! Plus, the "weapons" and stages are very nice!

love this game! I want it! but I need a steering wheel to play?
Bleh, the Wii version is terrible. The AI and their ability pull any item they want out at any time they want are just horrible and make beating most cups impossible.
Seriously if you're in 1st place and you go off a jump expect to get zapped and fall into the hole/lava/etc.

I've played the original for the SNES, the one for the Nintendo 64, and the GBA one, and I must say that I really enjoyed them. Me and my cousins used to play for hours on end when we were younger. I've seen videos for the Wii version and it looks like its really fun to play. It almost makes me want to purchase a Wii just for it.

I have every Mario Kart. Though I don't remember much about the SNES version. Except that instead of racing, we (cousins, myself, my brother) would attempt to play random games inside the game. I skipped the portable ones, as my brother played those, and I didn't find them as fun.
I didn't drive in Double Dash, my brother and I would team up and I would throw the weapons. And now I play Rosalina (Wario Bike) in the Wii version. My brother and I are always neck and neck for 1st, but if we're on Rainbow Road, I'll definitely win, haha. That's my specialty course.

I have only played the ones on SNES, N64 and GC before and I have to say my favorite one is Mario Kart 64. The one on GC is really hard! But I do enjoy playing the classic Mario Kart on my SNES from time to time though. It really brings back a sense of nostalgia when I do so =)
