I know a few girls that are playing games xD
but i think it is more that they play differents genres than boys
i played a long time counterstrike even there were a few girls playing and some of them were very good ^^
but when i switched to other games like audition some fun games i saw that there are a lot of girls playing it

I'm a girl and I love playing video games... I don't know why some people find it strange XD Online games too, but I don't think I'd ever play a FPS... but not because I'm a girl, or because I think this kind of games is stupid - I just have really poor reflexes.
Males who think females aren't supposed to like games really annoy me... I absolutely don't understand why having breasts should influence my tastes? Games are fun, good for procrastination and often have really great plot and characters... so why is it so weird that girls enjoy them too?

Well I am a girl too...and I love playing games...I am not a hardcore gamer but I do play a lot of games whenever I get time. I find it kind of annoying when some people think that girls do not play certain types of games...I even play FPS at times and enjoy them. Personally I feel that girls can be extremely good gamers too!
First of all....F**K YEAH COMBAT ARMS!...but yeah there is a lot of crap like that in the game basically the chick just should of left its no worth it at all...i like if both genders are playing together without being so sexist it gets annoying after awhile

I don't know about girl very much but I do know mmost girl don't like to play serious games or games that is related to mecha. Girls always play gentle and harmonic games (except Final Fantasy series) though. I have a friends (girl) who likes to play lots of games but she doesn't like to play MGS nor Black...
Lol.... that like in the arcades... a girl over there and a lot of guys around her .. like ants and sugar..

I'm a girl that play games as much as any guy would. Ever since I was 5 years old and can hold a video game control, I've been playing pretty much all my life. I have any kind of game system that came out trust me. but the point is..I have guy friends that ask me if I play video games and of course I would say yes. they just look at me and laugh. sure they'd be laughing until I kick their butts. it just cracks me up that guys think they're the only ones that play video games at all..well..some guys. and I mean I play games like Resistance and Call of Duty 4 (great games by the way). But yes..there are girls who play video games and kick butts just a guy would. But guys would only believe that once they get their butts kicked lol. but that's just my opinion.
I'm a girl and I'm not ashamed of playing video games, in fact it is why I have a lot of friends that are boys and they are nothing more than friends. I love video games and I don't really think it's a difference of boys and girls and I can kick anyone's butt in a racing game.

Yea i have a lot of guy friends because the fact i play video games. and they stay as friends lol. just my gamer buddies. but in the end..i dont think it matters if the girl kicks the guy's butt or vise versa..just as long as everyone has a good time just playin video games. its just some people are better than others XD
Meh, I have a female friend that gets a little competitive about video games. I think it's my fault though, I introduced her to games beyond Wii Sports and FPS. She used to hate video games prior and now she's always trying to compete with me.
Oh well, it's all good fun. xP I kick her butt and she kicks mine, so it's all good.

Yea i never used to be so competitive when it comes to playing video games until i met my current boyfriend. he says that he can always kick my butt, yet in the end i'm the one that kicks his lol just to prove him that girls can too play video games. but still. its the same all around. just as long as both parties are having fun and dont take competitiveness to the next level

Some guys are just jerks to us girls in online games. Some'll pick a fight and i didn't even do anything! It's so annoying. (Not that i have grudge to guys, only to jerks. xD) Anyway, i'm not really into action games or gun based games. (i love using big swords.

Although i'm more into RPGs i really will play any type of games :P . Since i was the only girl surrounded by a crapload of guys in my family, games were kinda easy to access. Not to mention, they're just uber great stress relief mechanisms (except for Resident Evil or Silent Hill (OMFG , scared the sh- outta me) ) Final Fantasy games are fun, i learned to play "To Zanarkand" on the grand piano
, I kicked my friends arse at Tekken, i suck at Fifa or PES. War games like COD, or MGS, really aren't keen to me =x maybe cuz my aiming sucks xD LMAO, and Games like Grand Turismo and NFS -nods- i pwn at them. xD Pac-Man and Snake =x i have elite skillz in them xD

I'm playing Icewind Dale 2 with my girlfriend and also with her sister. Her sister also plays iwd with her girlfriend. I think it's not that girls don't play video games but it's that girls actually do numerous other things too, not just video games. Unlike boys. ... :P
