To be honest I think its cool when girls play games, although unfortunately for me every girl I know is 'too popular' to play games.
Not every guy will do these things,because who play games are group of young people,they want to get a girl satisfied in the game instead of fact,so if I am a girl,I will just play and don`t affect by the talking.My friend is beautyful girl,she play game and have her own thought.

Well I actually know a ton of girls that play video games. And I dont think I have ever had some guys online act to stupid. But I only really play xbox live and wow so. But I dont know how guys and girls even sometimes can act in the video game world. But most of what I have experienced from people has been in person. But it never really bothered me and it didn't seem to bother the gamers I was with either.
Everything pretty much said here about girls playing games. they are needed in videogame media, i wish i had girlfriend who plays games .

Well, i'm a girl and i play video games.I don't see a problem with that. Of course, there are always some stupid guys to make a comment or ask a naked picture, but it's a minority and you just ignore them.

I'm a girl, and video games is what I do in my past-time when I'm not out with friends. I have a great social life, so gaming doesn't turn me into a loser. I'm actually quite pretty and popular, so gaming also doesn't do anything to my image at school.
I think more girls should play video games (not games on Wii; that's lame). They're fun to play, and it's something to do when you're bored.

No no ladies- I'm just joking. In fact- I'm somewhat of a lady myself. I mostly play console games though. I've only played like- one online game and I've never been asked for any lewd or indecent pictures. I've only ever had this one weird guy follow me around on Runescape. Again, it wasn't anything like- heeey let me get some pics- he just followed me around and when I kept ignoring him he started to shoot arrows at me. The little dastard...

MimebladeHonestly, Online games don't even "count" as far as I'm concerned. Anyone can play as anyone in those kind of games. I'd be more in awe if a girl played a "typical guy game" like Doom/Quake[. . .]
Whether or not you realize this, you statement can come off offensive in that it sounds like you don't believe girls can play a "typical guy game". I've known plenty of girls that play Doom and Quake, but of course, people simply assume they are male.
I've found that it's less the people around me thinking I'm weird for being a girl and playing video games and more so that they think video games are weird or whatever regardless of the gender.

Gamers usually are geeks and don't have girlfriends, usually thin and dorky, talks about what stats to raise and where to level up. (sorry for being a stereotype)
i for one am a gamer and have friends who are like the things that i mentioned. they usually fantasize about the gaming girls. i dunno.. they'll get teh girl's facebook and number. haha
