hatesI hate to point it out to you but you're ego has made you stupid. Several of these games you've mentioned exist on PS3. Hell go look at metacritic. I'm sure its a far better judge of what classes as steaming piles of putrid human waste.

Unreal Tournament: PC, 2004 was also very good and that's PC too.

Sonic's Ulimate Genesis Collection was recently released, which has Sonic 1-3 + Sonic and Knuckles.
Oni was also released side by side on the PS2 with PC, both weren't too bad but I prefer the PC one and the same was with Deus Ex. They came out with the PC version first, then released a PS2 version with a new cutscene, though I can't recommend enough how much I prefer the PC controls. Deus Ex Invisible War came out with an Xbox release as well.
If you want to get really technical, UT 3 is out for all systems.
Just thought I'd add that update to help sort things out.

Ok Sonic I'll give you, as for Oni that's the PS2, not PS3, same with Deus Ex.
UT3 isn't any good anyway, and I never said UT3, I only stated UT2k4 and the original (I know my UT, it's my favorite series of all time).

Yes I did I said Unreal Tournament. That means the original UT which was simply named Unreal Tournament.

To my knowledge the new PS3s aren't backwards compatible at all and that is why the cost went down.

The only way the PS3 will die is if Sony goes under which is highly unlikely even in this economic climate.
I dont think the PS3 will die but man has sonly lost their foothold with so many developers. exclusivity has become a thing of the past really and it's something I don't think about much anymore. After all lets face it, now a days the only exclusive titles out there are really first party titles, and they aren't on another system because the developing company (or it's owner) also built the system.
I chose to buy a PS3 because of all the changes they were planning on making. The lack of USBs, backward compatibility, shinny pace plate (I own an original 60gig model). I know there are others I just can't name them off the top of my head. It's also got a bluray player which is another pushing reason that I purchased one.
One of the most important reasons I bought it though was because it puts out 1080p. Unlike the 360 the PS3 is capable of processing at least some games at full true High Definition. I'm really big on resolution and video quality so it was uber important to me. Of course I can't forget to mention that i chose the PS3 over a 360 for one massive thing. It's called the three rings of death. I've known to many people who have suffered from them to feel safe purchasing one.

No the ps3 will not die it is way better than the 360 in everyway including exclusive games and xbox will not be getting ffXi versus which is the cooler one in the series lmao the wii needs to step up with better games too i cant wait for the new zelda lmao

But remember even though it lost it ff13 exclusive in worldwide...its still retain its exclusiveness in Japan....+ ff13v is Ps3 exclusive so i cant say them dying anytime soon

Well if anyone needs any further evidence that the PS3 isn't going anywhere look no further then Killzone 2. The game is incredible in nearly every way and Guerrilla games has already said that they didn't use 100% of the PS3's power to make the game. What this means is that soon games on PS3 will start to leap ahead of those on Xbox 360 visually and in other ways as well due to the increased storage Blu-ray allows. The PS3 library is getting better and better every day.

It still has great games coming out for it like Persona 4 and Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner 2 Raidou Kuzunoha versus King Abandon. So anyone worrying about the PS3 dying can put their worries to rest. The PS3 isn't going anywhere anytime soon. In fact it's likely the PS3 will be around far longer then the Xbox 360 as the PS2 has showed us.

perhaps of its relative late release compared to the othe consoles?

PS3 isn't going to die. They have AA and AAA titles like MGS4, Killzone 2, Resistance 1 & 2, LittleBigPlanet. We still have FFXi Versus exclusive and possibly get FFXi earlier than the 360. (at least SquareEnix has said that they're focusing on developing the PS3 first then the 360) Sony just needed to work harder from the start :P
