Maybe for now XBox360 can keep up and maybe right now is Xbox360 more popular but imsure that PS3 will be the Future.
I dont have a PS3 Because of Money but a Xbox i would never buy just because the same games rightnow are aviable for it in the Future will Xbox360 never keep up with PS3 because Sony will upadate the software and then it can be played with it full potential wich Xbox360 dont has so it is obvious that Playstation3 will never Day at last until playstatuion 5 hehe..

Well there isnt going to be a Playstation 5 until the full potential of PS3 is first unlocked and played on :3

Just because the PS3 no longer has an exclusive title will mean that the system will die. If we based things off of such small details like this, than no system would really succeed. Why? Because all systems (I'm going off of the previous generation and up) have horrible launches. If we based off of the fact that a system releases poor to mediocre games for a small portion of it's beginning lifetime, then by the same standard your suggesting, no system would be able to make it past it's first year. This won't put a dent into the PS3. If it does, it won't change much. The people who already wanted a PS3 already have one, this game shouldn't be a breaker. What matters most is the total lineup on a console. Considering the almost identical lineup of titles between the PS3 and 360, there isn't really much for the PS3 to fear. If anything, it's got a rather nice lead considering it's got Blu-ray capabilities. Still, at the end of the day it comes down to personal preferences.

I don't think PS3 will die. Many of the games that are coming are only available for PS3 so people will be forced to buy it lol. But IMO, I think that there are more PS fans than Xbox. I'm one myself. I have everything with PlayStation.

I don't think it's dying, it just hasn't been fully explored yet.. They will be, someday..
And about the exclusive titles, there's always Metal Gear Solid 4 and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.

My PS3 died already once... 5 days after I bought it and I had to wait 6 weeks before I got I new one .

I have a 360 and PS3 and for multi-platform games I will most like take the 360 version. I keep my PS3 for it's exclusives (MGS, GoW,...) and as a dvd player cause it can scale so much better than de 360 imo and it doesn't make so much noise. And I know a lot of people who do the same/are in the same situation as me. So PS3 won't die, but it will have a hard time and if Sony doesn't correct their mistakes with the PS4 I'm afraid the PS4 might die.

First, let us not forget that currently the Nintendo Wii is selling more than both XBOX360 and PS3 combined. However, let us not lose faith in the PS3. After all, it has a technology that Wii and 360 doesn't, Blu-Ray. :)

Well, even if the PS3 somehow manages to lose miserably to the 360, which at this point seems nearly impossible, at least I still have a pretty decent media server for my music, videos, and pictures.

Im Hardcore Playstation Fan, from the moment I heard PS3 was coming i knew i would have to do my search, when 360 came out, i was astonished by Microsoft, i was thinking of purchasing a 360 until PS3 came out, but looking at the specs and what each console offers me, i knew PS3 was for me, three reasons why i choose PS3 over 360
1. PS3 offers Blue Ray Dvd, it holds 50gigs compare to 360's HD Dvd which holds 15, i know from that i am able to enjoy longer games, more details, more of a feel to the game, game, and many extas
2. The setup (interface) it was just the PSP which i love that setup, easy to fallow no hassle to find something, straight forward, i didn't like the 360 weird setup, in my opinion it was weird to fallow, felt like i was turning pages in a book, but i heard Microsoft is coming up with a new Interface from E3, but at this point, not interested, i know both console you can customize it, i thought this was a random feature on PS3, you can print out pictures, just hock up a printer and print away, random feature but eh nice to have
3. PS3 has Bluetooh/Wireless, i know it's not a must have, but it makes life more easier! no cords in the way, compatible with many bluetooth devices, just the fact i can be in my room (other side of the house from router) and play online with my PS3 with out worrying about someone kicking the cable, knocking the cable out of the plug, or having it in someone's way and it's FREE!! I'm not paying monthly fee when i know I'm not going to play everyday, I wont have time to play daily, least with PS3 i know I can enjoy online play free. 360 did not offer it, like i said it's not a must have, but it makes life less of a hassle

As far as games on PS3, im not worried, when the PS2 came out, it didn't do good for i think it was 2 years 1/2, than before you knew it, it was stock up with games for every type of gamer, once 08 hit, PS3 sales increased passed 360 and Xbox, with MGS4 coming out, everyone was waiting for the bundle (i was one of them), i waited 3 hours outside Best Buy, just to be sure to get mine, I recently purchases The Eye of Judgment, it was pretty fun, a change in games for me, you have Little Big Planet, Socom: Confrontation, which you can buy wit a PS3 Bluetooth headset, FF Xi Virus (for the moment, it's PS3 only), and Home!! now Microsoft is doing something similar, but the people look like Wii people, sorry but im not a little kid anymore. once 08 Finishes you have Kill Zone 2 in 09, games are coming.

After watching E3, i knew 360 had weak games coming out, the only good ones were Star Ocean 4 and Final Fantasy Xi, Wii, nothing good either, PS3 was the only one that showed interesting games that are coming in out in Fall.

PS3 will never die, Sony will continue to push more game once Home is finished, You get quality with the PS3, for me, it offers more than just games, Blue Ray, Bluetooth, wireless, video chat, etc. I look forward for new releases in Fall of 08 and Spring of 09

I really don't think the PS3 will die, as others have said, Sony can always count on their die-hard fans to at least keep them in business. Sure, it's not really holding up to the 360 or the Wii right now, but that doesn't mean it won't come around in the near future, does it? I personally like all three, even though I only own a Wii, but I've played on the other two enough thanks to friends and the PS3 is just as fun as the other two. So I don't think its going to die, it just needs time to get off the ground and pick up some more popularity.

Some really good PS3 exclusives are coming out soon plus most of 360 games came from PS3 exclusives.

While the sales of the Wii seems to be killing it, that's not the case. The two consoles are very different, and therefore, their library too. Give it more time, it'll pick up the pace as either the price drops or more games come out for it.

What? The 360's controller is the same size as the PS3's. Even if your referring to the original Xbox's controller, they replaced the hamburger like a year after the system was out.

Considering the solid line-up of PS3 games and some former 360 exclusives coming over to the PS3 (Eternal Sonata & Bioshock) this'll be a great year for Sony. I'm actually really pumped for the fall season. I'm even more excited for 09. What with a future Jak & Dakter release how can I not be pumped!

Quality always a good business model and in my opinion Sony is more dedicated to releasing quality than Microsoft. Although Microsoft could very well redesign the 360 to stop RROD, they rather not spend the money to do that and instead made an extended warranty that only applies to that specific failure. Maybe I'm weird but I would rather not purchase from a company that is fine with selling me a product that I can expect to be completely unusable in 3 years. Not to say that PS3s never fail, but the rates are surely lower than the 360 and it's certainly a better designed piece of hardware.

I expect that the PS3 will soon start to gain more and more momentum (already has since MGS4) while continuing to remain loyal to the people who gave the brand it's success (unlike Nintendo).

This last quarter of the year, a lot of new games are going to be coming out that are especially interesting which are all available for the PS3. Currently I'm looking forward to Mirror's Edge. I recently bought Warhawk (yeah, late adopter) and find it really fun. I also like how Sony is constantly listening to customers and adding features to the console's OS.

Besides, every time I think xbox, i think Halo, which is a crappy overhyped game. Most of the exclusives I'm truly interested in are coming out for the PS3. At the least, it won't fail simply because it caters to a different audience.
