After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

I don't think the ps3 will die. If the ps3 game library grows large enough I'm pretty sure people will buy it.

If you don't believe me, look at the different games for sale for each system. It really speaks for itself

Basically it's been a constant mentioned throughout the thread. The PS3-360 line up is almost identical. Even then, there are exclusives that are now making their way over to the PS3. Games like Bioshock, Overlord and Eternal Sonata have been or are in the process of coming over and heck, there might be even more in the future. Granted, there are a bit more for the 360 but that alone has been covered by Deerstalker. We can't look at the present without looking towards the future as well. There are quite a few games coming out for both systems and a few exclusives to boot. Yes, there may be more exclusives for the 360, but at the end I'd rather have a great exclusive game than a bunch of mediocre/poor ones (Perfect Dark Zero/Bullet Witch/Bomberman : Act Zero to name a few).

To note for other posters or fans of the 360 and any other console, both Deer and myself don't mean to be harsh. We don't mean to even remotely attempt to attack or completely take apart posts. We just simply want to clarify facts. Reibooi has been helping with that as well. We want people to know that there is more to the PS3 than what goes around. Even despite this, at the end of the day it's going to come down to personal preference. Still, we want to get the word out about the PS3.

Nope NOT A CHANCE IN HELL

1st of all the reason they haven't made as much profit for the ps3 is because a lot of technology went into making it and their selling it too cheap to compensate for this.....so even though they might not be making as much money they do have the greater technology.

2nd of all microsoft has paid a lot for the rights to some of squares games .....so their losing money (for know)

3rd of all buying an xbox is stupid in my opinion ,unless its purely for the multi player this is because you can buy all if not most xbox games on computer ......so why buy an xbox why not just buy an awesome computer then you have something that plays xbox games and does everything a computer can

4th is that the ps3 has 4 player now (maybe up to 16 not sure) if you want a good fps for 4 or more cod4 is the way to go for ps3 so xbos's advantage went right out the window.

xbox's only real advantage is halo 3 ......and everyone got over that pretty fast

...i dont see how xbox can profit from buying squares games as its a multi player platform ....you can just buy a ps3 (which is better) and still play squares games

so if you ask me ps3 will beat xbox in th long run, their lack of profits will mean nothing if they have no competition

...that was just my opinion so please dont eat me xbox luvers 9(>_>) emoticon

It would depend on which system would have more better games. So far to my knowledge all the new generation systems are already hacked. All with the exception of the PS3. That is probably why PS3 isn't top in sales. I'm one of those guys who are waiting for someone to find a way to do it. If not there's a low probability i would get one since my friend got one already.

The PS3 will come out superior to all other systems. Blu-Ray is the new disc format, and as I recall when the PS2 made its debut, a majority of PS2 owners merely used their system as a DVD player, with the added bonus of the ability to play games. However, what is different this time around is that the PS3 is quickly becoming the much cheaper alternative to purchasing a Blu-Ray disc player, as well as simply offering much more for the average dollar than you would be able to purchase had you bought a 360 setup. The Wii shouldn't even be considered, for its highly outdated technology is just merely compensated for a variety of gimmicks, which in turn attract the very consumers to which it is marketed (Children and Adults, Brawl isn't a fighting game).

I belive PS3 wont see the last round of this war because it is so high priced. I don't own PS3 but I've seen what it is capable to do but I still rather play xbox360 because it's price is so much lower that PS3's. You can get Elite a lot cheaper than PS3 and i belive that microsoft is going to pull price even lower. To get more users for PS3 I think that Sony should lower PS3's price. how long it has been on markets? nearly 2 years and i haven't seen any change on the price.

Well I respect your opinion and all. Currently 400 dollars is a lot compared to the 360 and Wii. But didnt launch 360's cost 400 dollars also, yet no one complained back then? Then again more people were willing to dish out 400 dollars than 600 for a PS3.

PS2s cost 300 dollars when they first came out and it was pretty much sold out for a while because of high demand.

Also, no price change? PS3 was 600 dollars when it came out, at least where I live. Now it's 400 dollars. That's 200 dollars cheaper. Quite a lot if you ask me. But may not be enough to compete against the Wii or 360.

Crimson brings up a very good point. While the xbox does have more exclusives they are rarely as good as Sony's 1st and 2nd party games. Sure the Xbox has Gears and Halo but outside of that there has been few exclusives that the PS3 doesn't have or is getting in the near future that are of good quality.

The opposite end of that is Sony with their 2nd party studios like Insomniac and Naughty Dog making great exclusives like Resistance and Uncharted. Uncharted by the way is getting a sequel soon. Then there is of course Sony's 1st party studio with Killzone 2. Those are incredibly high quality exclusives compared to a group of not so good 360 games.

Honestly if the number of exclusives is what matters to you and not the quality I would suggest the Wii as almost every shovel ware title is exclusive. That doesn't mean it's better but the number of exclusives is high. That's not to say the Wii doesn't have great games cause it does and I don't want to be misunderstood here. No More Hero's need I say more?

The point here is that when it comes to exclusives it's better to have quality over quantity. I would take Resistence or Uncharted or MGS over all of the games Crimson listed.

Dont thing so,
every new playstation was expensive but it was bought and successfull too
if new games were released and the prices get lower (70€ some games!!) there will be more (and better) feadback.
and if you be thing about it, the ps3 is awesome, 80 gb hd, br-drive, wLan, nice graphics, and wireless shock controler garantee 100% fun.

ps: im waiting 4 gran turismo 5 and tekken 6 :D

Well Tekken 6 was just announced as a cross platform title on PS3 and 360 which shocked me a little but in essence it's not that much of a surprise. However there is still only one place to get Gran Turismo and that's PS3 :D

I don't think the ps3 will be dieing off anytime soon. It is not selling to well out of the 3 main systems out, because of the $399.99 price tag. But It has alot of future proof stuff on board. I know alot of people who brought the ps3 just for the blue ray movie playing power. And since all of the games coming out use blue-ray disks. The company's have a whopping 50 gb's of space to use as apposed to the 9 gb's regular dvds use. I just found out recently that the xbox 360 is getting Tekken 6, and that is taking alot of exclusive power away from the ps3. But playing online is free. ^^
Also ps3's hdd can be upgraded very easily. ( says how to do that in the manual)
But the main thing is, the ps3 will be getting most of the main titles that the other systems will be getting. The bad part is I can only think of a few exclusive titles that will be coming out, like god of war 3, and gran turismo 5. But thats just off my head. I don't hate the 360,.. but I can picture the 360 dieing first. And I'm not talking about the 3 red lights of death.

PS3 doesn't need exclusives to survive the competition, but it would be a plus if games are made only for the PS3 that would be great. I don't mind having all three consoles if each of them can provide games that I would love to play. Besides PS3 loads faster than Xbox360 during cg mode so I'll say game makers would prefer a faster machine to work on.

Most third party games are going multiplatform at the last minute. Final Fantasy Xi was for a while exlusive to the PS3 now its multplatform. Only a few third party games remain exlusive.

Its going to come down to who ever has the best first party support for the 360 and PS3. The PS3 has the best first/second party support in my opinion. Theres Resistance, Resistance 2, Uncharted, Grand Turismo Prologue, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet and Home to name a few. But with the 360 all that comes to mind is the Halo series in terms of first party.

ArtificialRaindrop, how can the PS3 have a "pretty sad selection of games" compared to the 360 when it has almost EVERY game that has been released for the 360 over the last two years except for microsofts first party games (Halo, GOW, etc.)? Most third party games are multi-platform now so the only difference in game selection comes from first party studios (and the odd loyal third party developer). Fortunately for sony, their number of 1st party studios dwarfs that of microsofts.
