This game is one of the best games that has come out in a long time imo. It's so much fun to play with your friends especially on versus mode but the downside to this mode is the competitiveness of some people and whom moan/flame at others however you get this in practically all online games.
As shruypuff said, the friendly fire can get annoying especially on advanced or expert difficulty. The ff damage on advanced is bearable (can do like 5-30 damage a shot) but on expert alot of the times ff damage does 100 damage thus you get incapacitated cleanly. It is quite hard to avoid ff on such a game with all these zombies coming at you from all angles but the fun factor of this game overwhelms this. Great game with endless amounts of fun, highly recommend buying this game. =D

I actually find it easy to avoid friendly fire.
The key is really to melee more than you shoot, kneel down and stay put so you can make sure you don't run into your team mate's firing path.

Yes if you dont play as a team, you are screwed.
If you keep all teammates alive, kill all zombies and eat your vegetables you not gonna survive :)
And another good game by valve is Team Fortress 2

This is a zombie game for the ages!...I loved the Resident Evil series but the low amounts of zombies you face kinda gets less fun...but when I picked up the 360 controller at my local game crazy to test this game i thought it was gonna be a generic rip off of Resident Evil but right when i started playing I was completly surprised! right when the first horde of these almost super zombies ran at me I almost crapped out my heart it is a very action-packed (and slightly scary lol) game and I am definitley buying it for my PC

This game is very fun, especially with friends. It's just so fun to shoot zombies in the face. It feels so much like a zombie movie, which is great. The whole team better work together, or else you will die often.

I love this game too bad i can only play for 30mins before my connection gets disconnected which is a downer. anyone tried the panic director its so much fun spawning 2000 zombies all at once and trying to defend yourself hahaha. great game but the 50$s is a killer blow. wish it was like 35$

I think this a great zombie game. Amazing fun! The online multiplayer is the best. Actually being able to become a zombie and attack the humans? Awesome!
Got the full game for Christmas, and i love it. With all it's fast paced action and tons of zombies it gets your heart beating really fast. My favourite aspect of the game is the Versus mode as i love being the hunter and jumping from roof to roof to enemy player =]

But after you get a complete hang of the maps and their mechanics, the game loses its flair, the only thing keeping it going would be the online play with other people.
Hopefully they'll release some new maps later on; the game is amazing and has a lot of potential, but it's really lacking in maps and weapons.

My friend bought this game for me for Christmas, and I've played it for a couple of weeks straight. It's still very fun, mostly because I love co-op and blowing up zombie heads.
I have to agree that since this game only has 4 "stories," it is starting to lose its magic. A downside is that the game only has 4 types of weapons to choose from.. although now that I think about it, I guess it's part of their '4' theme :O! And the friendly fire is a pain, except when I intentionally shoot my friends ^.^ for laughs.
I think the best part of this game is the versus mode, where you can play the special zombies and attempt to destroy the survivors. I get extra satisfaction out of successfully downing a survivor because it is a bit more difficult and requires strategy.

Its one of the best zombie games that i have seen in a while. This game is best when played online. Love being a special zombie and scaring the crap out of the players xD.

The game has a couple of flaws like absolutely no storyline and not a lot of variety in weapons.But all in all its a great game.
Really fun game especially when you put teamwork to it. in versus there are a couple of glitches you can do as a zombie like blocking doors and such AND ITS SO FUNNY when you see the survivors wondering what to do. well that's just me. shoot, run, don't die. what could be better?
