Final Fantasy XIII
You know I never expected this game to be released on XBox 360, truth be told im a bit disappointed about this. Finaly Fantasy Xi should've been only made for the PS3 alone. Xbox gots it's hands on tons of good RPG games already give PS3 a break...So far Im liking the main character the info said that the main character from Xi and versus Xi will make a cameo appearance. The storyline must be somewhat inter twine with one another, We only have 1 more year to wait before it's release

Eh, at least the compilation is concurrent this time instead of after-the-fact. I actually applaud the concept provided one isn't taking resources away from the other. The tone in each just seems so different, though...I heard they're both in the same universe, yet one is very dark with cool colors and the other is rather bright with warm colors.

I'm really looking forward to FF Xi (but somehow at little bit less then to Xi Versus).
I enjoyed FF VII - X (and yes, even X-2) but XII was kinda of a disappointment to me. The story wasn't so interesting and I never had the feeling that there was a main protagonist (like Cloud in VII or Tidus in X). Also I didn't like really liked the new battle system. While in theorie it is great, it became to complex and/or annoying when fighting multiple enemies. Hopefully they will solve that issue in Xi.
Another thing I hope is that the Asian version will include English subtitles (and the Japanse language, that would be just awesome), since I highly doubt the Japanese version will have it. It it will have it, then it's a most definitely import for me. If not, then I will just have to wait for the American release but hell no that I'm waiting till it is released in Europe (which is where I live) :p.

relax it's gonna be released for the Xbox 360 as well, not only that but there also gonna be cutting down the price for the PS3, the game will probably come out by the end of this year so im pretty sure by then you would have saved more than enough. Lol FFX Xi is probably the most anticipated game ever for the PS3

I already had one playstation_one… game playstation_2 I make some years… recently also bought a Nintendo Wii (he is one of the video amused games more than already I played) and bought a Nintendo DS (nintendo wii and ds they form a beautiful pair XD)...I was always fan of the series of Final Fantasy, and confeso: I will go to buy one playstation only 3 to play Final Fantsy New Xi-Fabula Cristallys and Final Fantasy Xi-Versus (Tetsuya Nomura is owned, one of the best directors of games of the world… in my opinion)I also believe that Kingdom Hearts i will be launched for the new console of Sony.I am very anxious to play Final Fantasy Xi more… the waited game of the year.

Iono, for some reason i didn't really like Final Fantasy XII, but the trailer for Final Fantasy Xi definitely makes me want to give it a try. Just needa start savin up for a Ps3!
I think that the Final Fantasy series is getting a bit off course. It's becoming too closely attached to Japanese pop culture and its more extreme fashion. It reflects too much on the characters' hair and clothing and alienates the Western audience. And for some reason, the Japanese developers (Square Enix, primarily) seem to think throwing in a white dude who has some muscle is supposed to draw in the Western audience (maybe it helps, but I don't know), but in my opinion there has only been lame attempts (i.e. the blonde guy in this game; the "grizzled" dude in Last Remnant). Mr. Blonde's tiny amount of facial hair is supposed to make him more appealing to Gears of War 2 fans, he's still too pretty, he's the Legolas of buff guys.
Final Fantasy needs to cut out half of the flamboyance in its formula. Substitute a dose of sci fi and J-pop with a double dose of fantasy. Then, maybe we'll have a Final Fantasy people won't be so reluctant to play (but with all the hype I think I'm alone on this one). Of course, maybe it's just the curse of Final Fantasy to always have heavy criticism.

Because even SquareEnix, as blind as they are, are finally starting to realize that the end is near for Sony, and that they screwed up royally with the PS 3, so much that there's little profits to be made.
GraveXbox gots it's hands on tons of good RPG games already give PS3 a break...
What? I'm pretty sure this goes against basically every rule on how markets and competition is supposed to work, so unless Microsoft took suicide pills and suddenly openly welcome massive debts and short-sales, no company is going to give them a break.

Because cameo appearances to make the fanboys go wild is one of the many ploys a flat, aired-out company like SquareEnix tries to draw as much money as possible from its fanboys.

I want to play this game really bad but I can't.
I am very fascinated by the graphics, which I have to point out, look totally amazing, it's probably the first thing you notice when you watch the trailers (don't know about youtube, but I download from different fansites with high quality).
As for the characters, I love lightning, she seems so strong and independent, and I actually wanted SE to create such a character, an independent woman, that differs from all the previous girls since they all are pretty "girlish" and weak. And I also like her guardian, snow, very much ^^. The disadvantage would be that SE has not revealed so much information, so much time has gone and fans start to become tired... the whole plot isn't revealed yet, not all the characters (saw a new dude at a recent magazine that holds a mini chocobo kind of animal in his hand), the worlds are just about the same, except from the latest trailer where they actually reveal a few more places, and one place actually reminds me about ff10, both in the beginning and in the Zanarkand ruins, where the grounds collide somehow, the trailer shows a boss appearing in ff13 and there is a boss at the same place in ff10 as well, except from in the Zanarkand ruins because Sin appears instead. What else, the battles seem very rapid.

FFXi looks nice on a next gen console and the voice acting for the Japanese version is great as usual. Since its the first final fantasy to come out on a next gen, there is probably going to be a lot of changes in this one. I`m glad that i bought a 360 now that this is also going to come out for 360, but i also want versus Xi. too bad its going to be a PS3 exclusive.
I'm looking forward more to this release than any other game. So excited.
It looks pretty awesome. And think it'll be awesome!
