Ok this what i think...about square enix...putting ff13 in xbox360 too...I just think they want to experiment with the sales and survey western games for xbox360...thus they do that...cant blame them...they just want to make money i guess...
I have to comment on ff13v...its cool and dark which i like...but lack of info about story line soo i cant really say much...the promo ff13 more which is kinda give me the impression the ff13 is going to release sooner than ff13v...well obviously...but not giving much info ff13v make it quite interesting as fans will be more interested...in a sense...i guess...but as char design i think ff13v is cooler while ff13 is much cheery...so yea...it kinda balance the both game....

I don't mind that they put Final Fantasy Xi (13) on the XB360, as long as it will be a decent game. Unfortunately however, as we have seen with other titles Square Enix has been putting out, SE seems to be losing it. Before SE created great stories and amazing graphics but now they seem to be just milking their products and creating some other, unfortunately, not very good titles (ex. Last Remnant). We'll see how FF 13 / Versus are when they come out, hopefully they will be well done.

Had a feeling they would delay the game release ...look at ff12...they delay till 4 ~ 5 years i think...

The RPG genre is dead. You can get a slew of Action games with RPG elements, though.
The new trailer doesn't really show much, so I'm going to wait until they really show us how this game's gonna be played. I'm looking forward to it though. I hope it's not another disappointment like FF12. (no offense to FF12 fans)

I also will have to disagree with Spudsy2061's comment. The World Ends with You was a great game. I absolutely loved playing it. It was a rare thing for a game like that to truly captivate me.
Now honestly I think Square is a far cry from its old glory, but I can't deny that they make a beautiful game. So I will surely pick up FF 13 when I get a chance.
As for the Enix side, I personally think they are the real titles to look for. Enix has always made immensely enjoyable games.
Also the comments currently running around is that this will be the last Final Fantasy there is, think Square will be following through with that?

I'm so pumped up for this game. I can't remember the last time I've been this excited for a game release?! Probably Halo 2 or 3. But even with those, I don't feel that the wait was as anticipated as this wait is for me. I like how the battle system appears to work and I absolutely love the artistic direction of the game in general. The whole design of the game seems to have a FFVII feel to it, and the fact that Lightning was designed as a female Cloud Strife is amazing and I would buy it for that fact alone. FFVII is the best RPG of all time in my eyes and I feel that 13 may be the only one that comes close to even touching it.

I'm pretty new to keeping up with the previews for Xi, but it does look pretty intense. Admittedly FFXII was the first Final Fantasy I fell in love with. But I have high hopes for this one as well. I'm just hoping the hype doesn't lead to disappointment.

I'm glad it's coming out for Xbox. I have already both Xbox and Wii, I wouldn't want to go and buy another console.

Waiting for the new Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Blu-Ray to come in the mail this month. Aside from the added footage I want it mainly for the FF 13 demo. CD Japan is my favorite import store.
