All about Persona 3 and 4 ^^
I love both Persona 3 & 4, unfortunately my PS2 will only play the 4th for some reason. I can't remember what I called my MC on Persona 3 but for Persona 4 I called him Shota Tamaki. I took Tamaki from Ouran cause he's one of my favorite characters, and I couldn't think of any other names, so I asked my sister to start naming names. She's a big Japanese idol fan. I REALLY hope they make a Persona 5. I love the personas. I usually end up picking the personas that are nice to look at. Shallow I know.

What did danni mean by a persona being shallow? i don't get it... Akihiko you get it right? Would you tell what he did mean by that.
Well since we are in Persona's Seth, Samael, Thanatos, Izanagi and Izanagi-no-Okami are my favorite persona in the game.
About skills my favorite is Victory Cry 'cause you can go the extra mile when you have that skill in one of your persona.
Oh i got another brainstorm. In p5 there's Nanako about 5 years older and she got her persona, cause you know in "Heaven" she didn't get her persona? How about that? After those years that persona of her manifest. I hope Ken is in p5 if Nanako is in p4. You know Senpai-Kouhai relationship between their selves . ^^

I loved Persona 3 and Persona 4. I've been playing Persona 2 lately and it's quite a bit different. Still fantastic though.
I enjoyed Persona 4 overall a lot more. The ending was fantastic. I'm refering to the true ending. I love the way you get it as well.
P4 took everything that was good from P3 and improved on it. It also took everything that didn't work so well in P3 and improved that as well. The social links, battle system, flunctuation of the days, character development, story, to name some of the few things that were improved.
I always name my character after myself. It just keeps me more immersed into the game, personally.
By the way, for anyone interested an article was written and posted on kotaku a while back analysing P4 and P3, specifically the MC's. It's a good read and don't worry about possible spoilers, it's safe. I'm taking Psychology at the moment and incorperating some of the information we've learned to the games makes me love these games even more.

I just name my MC's my name. I don't want to have to think of a Japanese name when I can just use my own.
I agree that I liked P4 better than 3. Playing 4 has me currently going through FES. I don't think I could max all social links in 3 without some sort of guide though.

anyway....P5 i think should be in next gen console(ps3 preferably...i have that cosole...)...cause by then Ps2 will be kinda dead...in Singapore (since i study there...)its hard to get ps2 game i had to pre-order from another country...kinda sad really...Ohhh foreigner as new MC is a chic idea!Also if i got an idea that if the dating system could do things like help a char to date another!(example:Soji help Kanji dates Naoto...)Cause MC always look a bit pimpish..he could date all the gals 4 god sake...which leave other char single which is sad..So Atlus heed my comments on P5(or future persona game)!

I adored Persona 3 and Persona 4. Junpei and Akihiko completely made the game for me in 3, and the story was really interesting.
Persona 4 was a great step up on what was established in the third installment, and I was really happy with the added team interaction. It was neat to get to hang around with the characters and get to know them outside of the battle scenario. : 3

I used Arisato Minato for my P3 MC (yup, played it after I read the manga)
While for P4, I named him Kururugi Suzaku (I was out of idea)

Sorry for the 3 week late reply, forgot to check this topic. Saying that it is shallow is like saying that our reason for choosing the pretty persona over the strong persona was very weak or irrational. Rationally it would be best to choose the persona that have very few weaknesses and great abilities no matter how they look. But for me, if I had a choice between a Legion and Titania I would defiantly choose Titania even if she was weaker, simply because she looks better, which is irrational in combat.

Making P5 with the above speculation does sound good, but then again if that happens; wouldn't it be kinda like an almost copy of P3 and P4? haha maybe i'm just overthinking it but as a big fan combining the 2 personas do sound very tempting

I love the Persona 3 :]. I was able to get my hands on the Aegis figure too. Gosh I felt so lucky. They said its not going to be reproduced for a while and only like 3 were on the net. I started to play the game recently. I think Im not even at half way. In time Im around the middle of June. Its amazing, like a second "life". It makes me relaxed. Really really good concept.
Named mine to Tomoya Takumi,since it rhymes,lol.
Maybe Atlus will make P5 since they saw the profit in it.They even remaking the first Persona,so the possibility is high.
A foreigner is a cool idea and I want the previous game's dormitory concept,it's interesting to see what the party members do in free time instead of standing aimlessly in street in P4.And the ability to choose protagonist gender,or a female protagonist for this time (yuri,anyone?lol).I also want to visit the social links' house ,hang around there.Buy new costumes (custom,if they could,where you can buy each part separately,tops belt caps etc).Wider choice of room customization (put up posters,furniture etc instead of just action figures).Open city roaming.And cutscenes instead of visual novel style for social link events.
Wait,this is turning into GTA,lol.
But if they do,I might buy PS3 just for this.

I really like both game...persona 3 has a deep story and persona 4 perfectioned thethings that in p3 weren't good...but p4 was too short i think...
well if you compare all the ending of the persona saga...u will see that p4 ending is sad...however is the happiest in the saga...
