I bought Fable 2 three weeks ago and have beaten the game four times now. I think that it's combo system is innovative and easy to handle. I think the story was meaningful and well developed throughout the game. However I did not enjoy the fact that the interaction between NPC's and yourself was restricted to non-verbal gestures, as well as the fact that earning money was time consuming and the jobs were irritatingly repetitive.

But what did you enjoy/not enjoy about the game?

I didn't play it myself, I watched a friend play it. But I have to say it was a bit too short. And I really didn't enjoy some of the places where they made you make good/evil decisions and didn't explain them well. Like in the Spire. The jobs were okay, just took a long time to level up. And in the end when you have to make the choices, I think they are very harsh and I didn't enjoy it, especially the fate of your dog.

I got it for Christmas. I haven't beaten it yet though, but I think it's really fun. The thing I don't like it about it is the time that passes when you go from town to town... I kinda seems like too much. Maybe I just don't understand it though. The jobs are really... boring. And it gets hard!

I rented it. Which was a good thing cus I really didn't like it that much. Just not my type of game. I'd much rather play games against other people like in fighters or shooters.

Havent played 2 but the same is true for the first one about taking a long time to lvl your abilities. Especially the magics.

I would agree with you on the interaction. The communication is limited and not only that, you cant transfer you're original profile character either. You have to choose from a handful of already chosen preset characters, which i find frustrating. But the game itself is a nice step up from the first Fable. Many still believe that Fable 2 should have been Fable 1, but i would disagree by saying the second installment wouldnt have been like it is today if it werent for the lacking qualities in one. Overall, its one of my favorite RPG's.

I sometimes play it and I especially like the funny sides of the game. Like the gestures making, clever and funny communications with NPCs and graphics is cute as well. Worth playing, I think.
