Your favorite console, and why.

My favorite console is the Xbox 360. I think that despite it's continuing hardware problems, Microsoft did a great job on this console. I like the fact that out of the three consoles the 360 offers a larger variety of downloads and extras. I also believe that Microsoft has it's eye out for quality, not quantity. And for being a new player in the console gaming world, Microsoft is becoming one of the dominating players.
But my opinion is not the only thing in the world that matters what is your opinion?

The Playstation 3 is the best console out there if you look at performance and possibilities (Blu-ray movies, PSNetwork). But Blu-Ray movies aren't that popular yet and the PS3 is just too expensive.
The Wii is something I don't even want to call a game-console anymore. It's just a Wii: a toy for old ladies. The amount of good, serious games on the Wii is something you can count on one hand, so it's nothing for gamers.
The Xbox 360 then is pretty much the winner here, because it's very affordable nowadays, got a great lineup regarding games and Xbox Live works very smoothly.
Personally though, I have no console at all. The main reason is that I don't have a TV, but it's also the fact that I can do everything on my PC already. Sure, I miss out on a couple of games, but the PC is (if configured right) still superior in graphics and power.

The most recent console I ever touched was Dreamcast. My favorite console would be the PSX because I had the most fun with it. SNES comes in pretty close in second.

The Wii is just one of Nintendo's last fumbles in a series of disappointing, overrated, underwhelming games. They haven’t come up with anything truly original since the old N64. Why Nintendo is even a player in today’s gaming market is beyond me.
As far as the PS3 is concerned, it and the Xbox have nearly identical potential. But the 360 comes out the victor because (a) primarily it's cheaper. And (b) I think Microsoft is investing in better games.
But the main point I'm trying to get across here is that the Wii sucks.

If the Wii is such a "fumble" then why is it making money hand over fist? Could it be simply that you feel slighted that Nintendo has chosen to chase a previously untapped market that doesn't include you?
I like the Xbox 360 because it have better games out. Also Xbox Live kicks PSNetwork a**.

PS3 is the best game. Although it is too expensive better than XBX360. And it is too much higher cost than an ordinary Blu-Ray Player. PSP production came to a close but I think Sony will plans for the next handheld console. Nintendo releases the upgraded version of the DS. I don't know what model did the upgraded DS.

I'm biased since i own a PS3, but i'll still say PS3 anyways. Its an awesome deal if you also consider its a blu-ray player at the same time (which itself would cost a couple hundred bucks).

I like ps3 . PS3 can play blu-ray. xbox 360 can play HD dvd,but HD dvd has no more.i am a sony fans . sony's blu -ray is a strong product. i can save the money because i don't need to buy a blu ray player.

For me I prefer the Xbox 360 because of the ability to play online with your friends with just one Gold account, unlike the PS3

I have a PS3 and 360.
I use the PS3 daily and rarely use the 360.
The PS3 has free online, Metal Gear Solid, I like the setup better, & I can easily transfer file from my computer to it's harddrive. Like movies, tv shows, & music.

*Of the three current gen systems, it has the most games coming out that I'm looking forward to (Arc Rise Fantasia, Fragile, Muramasa, Klonoa, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers, Wii Sports 2, Tales of 10)
*FULL backwards compatibility with Gamecube games
*Virtual Console and Wii Ware
*Most durable system and least amount of problems
*Fairly easy to hack
*Mix of hardcore and casual games
*Zelda
*It's the only system I have successfully gotten my family to play
I have the 360 because I got it from a friend, but since I'm an RPG gamer I rarely ever use it except for Tales of Vesperia. It's true that there ARE more 360 RPGs, but I'm really not interested in any of them. To me, none of them are really worth buying the system for, especially with all of the hardware issues the 360 seems to have. In other words, if I didn't have one, I definitely would not buy one.
I have no negative feelings toward the PS3, but the lack of a good library and the high price tag has kept me from even considering buying one. My uncle has one and I play his when I visit him though.
