Your favorite console, and why.

If you let me choose between Wii , XBox360 or PS3 it will always be PS3, as it has a higher performance, its graphics is more superior than of the other consoles, which i always love their controllers better than of the others, as its abit strange to me to use xBox controllers, and oso PS3 is the latest thing you could find now, so my choice PS3
Im a bit bias about this but isnt it why this topic got started?
To know which is your favorite gaming console? the ps2 is my favorite console of all time
, it had a lot of good games especially good rpgs in its time especially when the ff is still a exclusive to ps and nintendo. I do own the ps3 but it has only a few noteworthy games so far (mgs4, kz2, resistance, LBP, etc.) but i do love the PSN because its free...
but now we may not have enough DLC because sony is charging the devs for hosting dlc
but i like the fact the online gaming is free and almost no lag in my games... .
. the xbox 360 is nice i played it before but i just cant get a grip around the controller (like the guy above me)
and i would like to get one just to play some of the rpgs exclusive they have (star ocean , tales of vesperia , i think thats it ??)

Hmm...Favorite at the moment?
Then it would have to also be the x-box 360. It has more games, the graphic quality is high for one. Specifically b/c it has more games though and was worth the money. Plus it is a good system just with a few downsides like the overheating problem but personally I have yet to have that problem! ^_^

Ps3 rules...since ff13 is coming on, it is 250x better than the ps2
Today, every major third-party publisher is onboard and there are more than 150 titles in development. Highlights include Resident Evil 5, the next Grand Theft Auto and Vision Gran Turismo.
But pick of the bunch so far has to be Metal Gear Solid 4. The latest instalment in the series, which has long been synonymous with Sony hardware, looks incredible.
Work is under way on Metal Gear Solid 4 for the PS3
To really get the most out of the PS3, you are going to need to get involved with high definition TV. The console is equipped with two HDMI outputs which, when hooked up to a compatible Plasma or LCD display, will result in images of unparalleled clarity and detail.
Further future-proofing comes from the Blu-Ray disc format which the PS3 uses. Blu-Ray discs can hold up to 25 gigabytes of data, as opposed to 4.7GB on a standard single-layer DVD which are used on the Xbox 360. Layered discs versions with even more capacity are possible.
Sony's trump card is its recently released handheld, the PSP. Further down the line, the suggestion is that you will be able to use the PSP's network browsing functionality to log onto your PS3 remotely, managing content such as music and movies, while on the move.
During the current generation, Microsoft dominated online console gaming with Xbox Live. I would expect to see Sony offering a fully integrated network service to support PS3 this time around.
Now the waiting game starts. US and Japan gamers will get their hands on the machine in November but European gamers have to wait until March next year.
But Sony is used to managing consumer expectations and playing the wait and see card. After all, going first brings its own set of problems. Just ask Sega.

I would say I choose Xbox360 since Iam having it and Iam very happy with that. Also the gamepad is imo better. Ofcourse it depends on everyones kriteria, but I as a big fan of all racing games can use the pad more comfortable then a PS3 pad. Just cause the LT and RT sticks for breaking and a better controled speed.
The biggest PLUS is the XboxLIVE enviroment which is DEFINITLY more friendly then the PS3 one. Not to mention the XBOX360 is the half of price of the PS3 and atm imo is the xbox360 in lead between those two consoles. On the other hand imo the future belongs to PS3... The pontencial of the PS3 is still not at its end... Not like the Xbox360. It reached its limits. And by the time goes you can clearly see the grafics of the PS3 beating the Xbox360 one slowly. It wasnt so one year ago for example. Also a big PLUS for the PS3 are the special rights from some game producers like Gran Turismo for example.
Altrough anyways at all it is to decide for everyone what type of console they like the most. Ima going to buy the PS3 later for sure. :)

I gotta say ps3 is my favorite. Microsoft will not learn and they just keep putting out crappy systems that are bugged or can barely play the games they put out and it's horrible. My brother has been thru 2 360's and my friend has been thru 5. I like a lot of the 360 games but, I really regret buying one because of how it lags on games or freezes up.
And if your curious I take very good care of my systems and this one is not even a year old.

Definitely the best console is Wii the other ones are for fat people that like to sit all day just moving 2 fingers, the Wii is for people that like to get up and play.

My favorite console is the Playstation 3. as for why...becaaaause I can do just about anything with it and the graphics on it are astounding. The 360 has a few problems with it that I dont like, the bulky controller, the fact that it overheats quickly..i can leave the ps3 on for daaaays and it wont overheat, and the fact that most of the games are not in my interest. the only game available on the x box 360 that a really want is the Last Remnant which may be comming out for the PS3 anyway. Yes the 360 has the most games out but thats because it was out in the market longer. In time the PS3 will be on top like its predassessors the PSX and PS2! XD

hmm, I would definitely have to disagree about the controller bulkyness. I fits to your hand

I leave my 360 on all the time aswell and it doesn't overheat, I think that was a thing of the past..
but you are right about the ps3 having a pro for having psx and ps2 games
Xbox 360
I own a 360 and Wii, I find the xbox 360 a great console not only for performance but for game range. My friend bought over his PS3 and honestly when connected via HDMI there is hardly any difference in visuals, and I believe PS3's game range isn't great considering most titles are now duel porting such as FF13.
However the wii is more fun with the family so if I was asked to rank them i would choose.
1. Xbox 360
2. Wii
3. PS3
but all time fav has to be Super NES

At the moment I would say Xbox, basically because PS3 has no games that really interest me that the Xbox doesn't have. Then again the FF versus Xi
will be exclusive to the PS3
. And that game is reason enough to buy the PS3
But when that happens I'll just "borrow" my friends's PS3 and we'll be aaaall good

I'm a Wii60 owner, Nintendo got me into video games. But i'd have to say Xbox 360 due to its choice in games. I first got started on the xbox due to Halo. I've moved onto other games naturally, but, the xbox 360 just seems more like the complete console to own. Especially with all the Live Arcade games coming out. You could play those alone and still be entertained. Although, the Zelda game for the Wii has to be my fav of all time.
