After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

I'm not sure if this has already had a discussion here, but anyone really excited for the news of the Metal Gear Solid movie? Ive heard rumours that it's coming out this year :) Any thoughts about this? Or more information? I was always horrible at research, and couldnt come up with anything about actors or storyline and such.

There are so many awesome movies being made right now! Teen Titans, Justice League, Cowboy Bebop, Death Note (American Ver. OMG I heard Zac Efron might play Light), Street Fighter, and of course DBZ.

Well the games are basically movies already. Look at Metal Gear Solid 4, you'll likely spend more time watching than playing. What was it, 9~10 hours of cutscenes? The cutscene after you finished the game last about an hour.

What could possibly go wrong? All they have to do is to make a life action movie out of the many cutscenes.

I dunno... I personally don't think they need to make a MGS movie. The games are fine. I guess I'm just afraid its gonna be a blemish on an already awesome series.

Fail. A movie based off a poorly written, under-par storyline cannot succeed at all, in fact it reminds me of another recent movie fitting those requirements, oh yeah! Twilight.

Here is their homepage. They already released a second trailer and the movie is almost finished.
It is a non-profit fanmade movie. This means there will be no cinema or DVD releases, but it will be downloadable for free and legal.

Welll it would be epic IF the actor look like solid and director is good and the script writer and writer is good too

I don't think they can do this game any justice. Besides, there are already lots of cutscenes enough to make a movie out of it. Why would you need a movie? It'll just ruin the series.

I don't think I will enjoy MGS:The movie. The story is just too deep for a movie. Please, don't bring up the SURFER DUDE NEO ABOMINATION that they're calling Cowboy Bebop. I am, however, 100% fully backing AKIRA. At first I was skeptical, but if the guys @ IO9 got good things to say about it, it cant be that bad, right? Right?

Movies based off of video games tend to be as bad as most of the comic book movies that have come out. Case in point, the majority of the Marvel movies (*the X-Men series, cough cough*) and the latest Street Fighter movie. Who knows about this one though, I'm willing to give the makers of it the benefit of the doubt because I'm just that kinda gal.
