I heard alot of people saying its crap..i don't know why that?! o_o.

People expect me too much really. Games don't revolutionize themselves every entry, proof?
Ocarina of Time -> Majora's Mask
Metal Gear Solid 1 -> Metal Gear Solid 2
Halo 1 -> Halo 2 -> Halo 3
Final Fantasy 7 -> 10
Etc.

I miss the old zombies.
Where you shoot their heads off and they stay dead.
Not turn into centipede things that kill you in one hit.
But I did like this game.
Granted, I haven't played it yet, since I don't own the required systems.

In general this game was great. But as a Resident Evil fan this game was a huge disappointment. Capcom turned RE5 into an action game and the combat was identical to that of RE4 with minor improvements if not worse in some areas.
**SPOILERS BELOW**
Also they killed off Wesker at the end. He was one of my favorite video game villians and they made him look horrible in the game. He should not of died.

It was a pretty decent game but I liked the older RE's more..
And the ending was kinda dissapointing.

I didn`t play RE5 yet,cause I didn`t buy PS3 yet
I see anyother people play it,and the employer mode is very excited.
For example,the QTE of Jill is very cool to do a neck break,the action is perfect,the QTE of WESKER is also powerful as before.
Therefore,the QTE is the most weakless than anyother people just like Leon in RE4,do you think so?Just forget it.
Last word,I will buy RE5 very first when I buy PS3,It`s my promise,It is worth it.

RE5 is a pretty good game overall. Doesnt have a strong story and still leaves many questions unanswered from the previous REs. However, the co-op system is a really huge plus. The game just becomes that much more fun with a friend to play with. And I'm glad to see that the Mercenaries mode from RE4 has been brought over to RE5 as well. More hours of mindless zombie killing fun. XD

What he said. RE5 was okay, but not as good as the older RE games. The ending was also horrible, not to spoil anything. But it was a huge disappointment on my part.

i agree with you, even final battle was so lame compared to other RE's i expected more from Wesker he wasn't scary at all i remember how Tyrant, Nemesis, Sadler now those were scary but Wesker ... mehh he's a wimp.
I hated RE5. I thought it had become too much action-focused compared to others in the series. Sure, RE4 was pretty action-packed too, but it still felt like a survival horror. RE5 didn't.

I think its a great game, yet it lacks in multi-player. Co-op is great, but the online mutli-player isn't that good.

I think it is a great game! In some ways it is better than Resident Evil 4 and in some ways, not better than RE4. It was the first game I played using an internet connection, so I enjoyed playing in CO-OP mode on Mercenaries and in the Story Mode too. The enemies though, I didn't think were as threatening as the enemies encountered by Leon in RE4. At least this time instead of having someone that just crouched on floor whenever Ganados come over to grab her and take her away resulting in us having to save her for it to only happen again immediately afterwards, we had Sheva who would shoot until the Majini dropped dead instead!!
I played RE4 and didn't like the new gamestyle. So I thought they might return to the traditional style in RE5, but no, I was wrong. Two of the key features missing that I really liked were the puzzles and zombies. The game is also a lot less creepy because you are no longer ALONE in a MANSION is the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE with ZOMBIES. So I'm not buying anymore titles of RE unless they return to the old style.

I found the game rather uninteresting. It was a shorter easier version of RE4.
