After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

The other day I was browsing youtube... kinda bored and I came upon a guy who had uploaded all the music from the doom series. I clicked the link without hesitation and began to watch it. (it comes with a nice video of the gameplay) ~Video Link~ and anyways.. I started getting that urge.. if you know I mean.. I really really really wanted to play Doom.. So.. I torrent'ed it and like less than 2 minutes and played it for hours... I can't believe how unbelievably fun the game is even all these years later..

Has anyone ever had that same feeling of withdrawals with any other classic games?

Oh hell yes, but the cause of my restart was different. I remember back when the summer in 2005 started, I was constantly trying to get ePSXe (a PSX emulator) configured because I had just dug up all my old PS1 games and a lot of them were my favorites. After a few days I managed to find the right BIOS, memory card, GPU and other components and started playing it. I played those PS1 games for the entire month of July that summer, and then in August I went and downloaded Project64 which was a N64 emulator and played my old N64 games for about half a month, games like Mario Kart 64, Golden Eye and Bomberman Hero.

There have been other, old games that I've reinstalled and played on the PC as well, such as Age of Empires, Command and Conquer Red Alert, the old Starcraft, but what I found out was a lot of those old games didn't entertain me anymore; that's not to say I didn't enjoy a single one of them. I still enjoy Rockman 8, Syphon Filter, Ace Combat 2 and a few others but what I've realized is my tastes for games have really changed. There are old games out there that just don't interest me anymore.

Take GoldenEye, the controls were so frustrating because it was a first person shooter and yet I couldn't use the mouse to aim. Having played countless first person games using the mouse has become the norm and not being able to shoot opponents as quickly and accurately as I can in Call of Duty really pissed me off. Then there are the old racing games where I've grown out of and into racing simulators with a steering wheel - playing Mario Kart just didn't feel satisfying and realistic, whereas Formula 1 racing sims always make a mess of my pants.

Ahh yea I know what you mean and dude I did the same thing with the N64. I was over a by a friends house last summer and noticed they still had their old N64 and since they weren't using it or anything I "borrowed" (^.~) it and a crap load of her games and played them all summer. Mariocart, Zelda, Super Smash Bros.. Donkey Kong dude I had a blast lol.

I love the classics. I used to own all the systems because there were awesome games on each console such as kirby super star for the super nintendo and zelda ocarina of time for the nintendo 64. However, I needed to sell my games because I did not have the space for the newer games and systems. Of course, what I did was I kept an emulator for the old systems so that I could play the classics whenever I want to.

Kirby Super Star was the one kirby game that Nintendo has yet to replicate. One of the best part about it was the two player cooperative game play that made it so much fun. Of course, Kirby's Dreamland had co-op, but the copy abilties were really awful and boring. Even with the other installments of kirby, none of them came close to Kirby Super star.

I remember playing halo 1 after getting an xbox 360 way later. I was so amazed how addicting it was even the graphics were kind of out of date. My brother and I played the game so much that we even played all night and morning. After beating the game twice, I decided to play the other installments, yet I was really disappointed in how late I was to be introduced to the series.

I wonder if anyone still plays super mario bros. 3? I never actually owned the first nintendo system, but when I played Super Mario All Star, I was completely immersed into the game. The best part was you could save, and I spent hours completely every single level even though you don't have to.
