Yeah I know people can just go up and just look up stratagies on Gamefaqs, but there might be other ones that people dont know. Share them with the people who don't!
Eg:
Snake Sliding Mortar
Dash--->C Stick down--->Z+Up stick smash
This is standard. The launcher acts as a shield and protects Snake from alot of projectile attacks. Ramming into people does about 7% damage or so. And its hella fun
Slamming Combo:
Neutral A--->Neutral A---> Pause---> Tilt A x2
Pretty effective. Frustrates some opponents. The only drawback is the pause, but most people will be expecting the third neutral A and shield automatically. Works most of the time, but remember to mix it up.
Keep the thread going!

This is probably posted in Gamefaqs. One of kirby's useful combo is his dair while doing a small jump and not a regular jump. Then follow this with his foward smash. It seems simple, but it's really great in racking up damage and I think sometimes the opponent sometimes slips too, so more chances for a KO.
Also, for some characters like fox, if you do a mid-air jump and immediately follow it with fair, then you gain a bit of height and distance than if you just do a mid-air jump alone. In addition, this applies to marth, but instead of fair, you should do side-B, but only one time. For all these jump techniques, it is important to do the attack almost right after the jump because if you do it too late then you will lose more distance and height than the regular mid-air jump alone.
Another technique is when you are hanging from the ledge while your opponent is edge guarding you. You can let go and do a mid-air jump follow by an attack such fair. This is useful because many people can already anticipate any ledge strategies, so it kind makes you less predictable.
One technique that's very useful is the air dodge. Of course, its obvious use is to avoid being hit in mid-air. But actually its other vital use it to recover while being hit real bad. After a big hit, you character is flying or falling while spinning. However, you can air-dodge right after a big hit and you are already in normal position while in mid-air of course since you just got hit real bad.
I'll try to post more techniques since it has been a while since I played the game.

Best way to win is
Juggle your combo's around and dont forget to dodge often and guard, then your unstoppable juggle meaning mix your moves all around to make them confused as to what to do, if they start juggling you then dodge and counter attack with your moves and re-juggle them. I always win when i use this strategy, skill comes from practice but this new smash bro's has an extremely lack of unbalance characters and hence in game play, I prefer gamecube melee, was also faster ;)

Best way to win is either using MK and spam his neutral b, or camping with one of the other broken chars...
Seriously it's a shame that there's totally no advanced metagame except some weird and for chars like sheik extremely hard to perform DACUS (dash attack canceled up-smash, like the snake dash for example...), which doesn't really help you.
The chaingrabs are cheap and require no skill compared to melee and the whole thing became so n00bish.
I don't want to simply bash Brawl, I just wanred to have that said since it's really bugging me...
That and TRIPPING are the main reasons I still play Melee, and Brawl only from time to time with my younger brothers.
Anyways, for the sake of this thread some of my Combos and stuff:
Ganondorf:
He's like my fav char, although he appears to be the worst in the tier list..
Well the most important thing is the auto canceled Dair, just button slide from x/y to a to perform the down aerial without any lag (like every auto-cancel), it's very effective and can be chained with another AC Dair or an upsmash (massive damage, so basically Ganon's best combo)
I also like DTilt > DTilt > FTilt (the Sparta kick lol)
Also try around with his over B, it can be used for tech chasing and mindgames easily, and keep in mind it does more damage when used in the air (just short hop abd immediately perform it, you'll grab even the tiny chars easily out of the air.
Sheik: make use of her tilts a lot! Great Combos can be acomplished, also concentrate on edge-guarding with backwards and forward aerials, since sheik has no real good finishers (only situationals)
Chaingrabs:
Some very easy are, DDD down throw > dash > regrab, Falco the same (you can add multiple jabs as you want)
against Ness and lucas, grab release (works insanely good with Marth)
Kirby's down throw > regrab, Pikachu same
some Fox stuff:
Dair > Uptilt, or Dair > shine (better next to the ledge, so your opponent will be sent of and you can follow for an ede guard)
Short Hop Triple Laser ( good damage dealing)
Marth:
several Fairs to Dair (Spike)
end his over B with down+B, good damage dealer, his dancing blade is also good for recovering other moves
WALK a lot with Marth, you have WAY more possibilites then out of dashing (tilts) and he's still fast enough
Well those are my favs... if you really want to know more go to smashboards... or gamefaq or whatever I don't want to write too much, I also haven't played brawl for a month or something...
