As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

I've never played the game and I never plan on it. I am not a fan of paying an online fee just to play a game I already payed for. Plus I've heard of people who stay up all night playing this game and having anger issues because of it. I dont want to become that way. Thus I will avoid this game.

My brother used to be obsessed with WoW (now he's moved onto Eve Online), it was disturbing how much time he spent on it... I can't really see the appeal, I watched him playing for a couple of minutes & got bored of it. =/

Video Games should be dropped, period. I mean, I think they're good and fun, but people get addicted and waste their lives away on something meaningless. You might be a hero in a video game, but in real life you're nothing but a hardcore gamer, and honestly, not only is that frowned on by society for good reasons, but it's also bad for your health and mentality.

Never player WOW, but three other MMORPGs (also pretty long, until high lvls and so on, so I think my point is still represntative for that discussion).
Now I reached a point where I said to myself that I'll never touch a MMO again. They are way to addictive for me (I know that there are some people who can resist, but I can't...). I also think compared to single player RPGs they are way too monotone and time-intensive... Especially the free ones are grinding grinding grinding...
WOW does at least offer some variety.. but still not very innovative.
While I'm playing I often noticed that I don't have that much fun actually, it's just that ambition to solve that quest and that dungeon and blah blah that has kept me playing. And that's why I'll never touch any again, cuz I don't want any game to capture me again. Once you're in you don't get out so easily...
For me it appears just as a huge waste of time. People who really enjoy the community and have a lot of fun playing aren't wasting there time in my opinion though. Time where you have fun is never wasted, whatever you're doing.
But considering 'elite guilds' where members have to tell their leader when they want to go to the toilet or getting food are just pathetic... that's not gaming or fun at all anymore...

Now that is kinda sad, honestly. Its the same with Anime, Manga, Reading fantasy books etc. Its meaningless, but you enjoy it none the less. And just because you play wow doesn't mean you stay up all night neglect Work, School because of it. Its a personal issue, if you can control how much time you spend on your hobbies. And Gaming isn't always "Pointless" Some kids who would get out and "Enjoy life - With parties etc" stay home, and learn some english - and maybe some culture. You can always point out flaws and let the good things out. Just my opinion.

To answer the main topic. Play the game as long you find it funny. And don't care about people who is saying "Its only for nerds, geeks, no lifers" Its no true. But its still only a game, get outside and meet some people to an extent.

I just quit playin WoW recently, I guess after 3 years of playing I finally realized that it just takes too much of your life. For a while it was all important to me, but I have other things that take its place now. Advice I would give people is dont choose WoW over friends, cause you will regret it down the road

If you become so immersed into WoW it will be very bad for you. I only played WoW for a year. When I hit end game material, I became so addicted. I played WoW immediately after all my classes were done. I'd eat, quickly finish homework then continue to play until like 2AM. Another thing I've noticed is that Wow is like taboo outside the house from what i've experienced. First thing a guy would ask "Do you play computer games?" then it would lead to "Do you play warcraft/Dota/WoW?" When you find that out, you have like an instant connection. It's so crazy. In high school, I actually avoided playing WoW even though all my friends who did play WoW really wanted me to play. They were all like "play the demo" and all that. I'm glad that resisted the temptation so I didn't play it in high school. I actually started in the summer coming into my 3rd year of college. Playing Wow was part of the housemate bonding experience. LOL. I think that WoW is good in the way it brings people together and you're having fun with it. After a year of WoW, I just grew tired of the repetitiveness and many of the people who took the game too seriously and the people who were really annoying and stupid.

I played wow all the way up to a level 70 blood elf paladin decked in full purples. I can completely agree with previous posters that the game is fun only if you are willing to put the time into grinding to the top.

After I heard Wraith of the Lich King was coming I decided to quit wow cold turkey style. I mainly quit because I was tired of having to grind for points in battleground only for blizzard to add all new gear in a few short months. Another reason was because most of the players on wow are so focused on grinding for gear at higher levels that they rarely ever do anything that's really fun. When i mean fun I'm talking about like doing raids on opposing areas for alliance or horde.

The game almost destroys itself on the principal of never ending really considering you can never be at the top and if you are you won't stay there. Kinda like that movie the never ending story well wow is the never ending game. No matter how many bosses you kill or what gear you manage to get a hold of there will eventually be something better then it sometime in the near future. Anyways take it from me don't waste your time on it; just go play something else that doesn't leave you feeling like your running on a treadmill and doesn't cost $15 a month.

I played WoW for nearly a year. I could say that I was addicted with it I guess. But then I quit when it just got too serious. Multiplayer games just aren't for me. Sadly, thats not the case today. Single player games just arent the norm anymore..

Well, uhm, I've been playing WoW for 2.5 years now with occasional breaks and all, and though I'm not the stereotypical nerdraging 50 dps-minus player (trust me, there are plenty of them around) I consider myself mode a casual player these days. Now for wow ruining your studies, that's completely up to yourself :P

I've never played WoW but I was really addicted to some MMORPGs... And when I noticed the results of the addiction , I thought what I was really doing...

Surely, if you can't control yourself it's natural that WoW can ruin your life, transforming you into a no-life... It all depends on the mentality of the player. But maybe it's because that you have to pay for it that you feel forces to play, cause otherwise you would have payed for nothing ? The problem with MMORPGs also is that when you see that your friends grow to high levels, you don't want to stop to not stay behind them, so it pushes you to play more and more to get to higher levels x__x

WoW and other MMORPGs are okay, but only if you know how to control yourself.
