Just got this game and I gotta say im loving it, although some problems are in the game. Like for example your teammates can be a bit useless sometimes and get in the way...But the online gameplay can fix that problem with having more capable teammates. I am a bit disappointed that they removed some of the good points in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1, like some skills.

Anyway who else in here has played this game? what do you think of it so far?

I must say I totally loved Marvel Ultimate Alliance the first. The second is major disapointment. First off the story is messed up. They should've just continued with Galactus and make another game. Makes more sence. Marvel - Civil war game and Marvel Ultimate Alliance game with Galactus as it was left off. That's the huge minus on the story. Second, is the roster. 80% or more caracters from the first game. I understand keeping the most popular like Wolverine, Deadpool, Spider-man Cap and Ironman. But again if they would've continued the sory as it was intended in the first place, the roster would've been more flexible. Since they put it like this no wonder about the only new interesting new figures are Hulk and Songbird. Gameplay looks virtually the same. I say "looks" because I only saw it being played. Kind of nasty, could've introduced some new concepts, like control combos for instance. Graphics way better than the first one obviously, but with the current technology is that the best they can do? Again decent but not great. Wolverine: Origins way better GPU aspect. Overall I seriously don't get Marvel, since they messed the original history up so bad, why don't they just give up? Make a game for every major marvel event (notes: Secret Invasion and Dark Reign) and a MMORPG (just like DC) I'd say like Dragonball Online, but the huge difference between Dragonball Universe and Marvel Universe, is that the first ended, the second doesn't seem to end except when the apocalypse's gonna come, or the plans on Pokemon to make a MMORPG At the end of the anime series. Since Marvel's never gonna end, just make a MMORG anytime you feel like it and a Single player event game so you get more profit.
Still perhaps I'm taking this too seiously, I say it's still fun by all facts however on logic, comparing to the first, I smell a huge fail

I do not have problems with the story coz i got hooked up with what actually happened in the civil war. but yeah, it would have been awesome if we are set to fight the 'godly' galactus but i don't know who could be the new enemies or what plot could possibly be brought up if it were the next game. i mean, it's just that galactus is out for revenge and... that's it, while the civil war plot is awesome where the players are given to choose what side. and plus if you're saying flexibility, i believe the game have more flexibility than the galactus arc because of what i said earlier.

i haven't actually played the game yet. i'm still hoping that it would be released for PC coz i do not have a console.. *sigh*

I, too, bought the game, although I have yet to play it. Also, just yesterday, I got the strategy guide for it as well, although it's very apparent after reading it that the PS3/XBOX 360 versions are better than the PS2/Wii/PSP versions (the version I bought was the PS2 version, since I've yet to get the XBOX 360, which is the next video game system I plan on buying, BTW).

But before I play MUA2, I'm going to first off play and beat the first game, which I have yet to beat; after which, I'm going to give MUA2 a go-at. I just hope that I can get an XBOX360 for Christmas, to which the first game that I might buy would be their version of MUA2.

It's still good, but it's not even close to being as great as the first MUA... I guess it's pretty easy to tell that it's not made by the same guys as the first one, sadly.

I haven't played it and am not planning on getting it. I'm not much of a super heroes fan. I have heard a lot of good things though. Looks like a great game if it's your kind of thing.

Haha ya i agree with Angeruze, its a fun game to get together and play with friends. but Im not so sure I would buy the game. Although playing through with different characters or choosing the different route in the game can be fun, there are def a limited amount of times you'll have fun playing this game

We bought this game for my kids and it was too hard for them so we ended up playing it. I have to say it was actually pretty fun. I enjoyed it.
