As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Anyone else playing Muramasa? Anyone played both it and Odin Sphere? What are your reactions? I'm finding the game amazingly fun, but somewhat short; I've already beaten Momohime's storyline.

Muramasa is amazing. I initially played it at E3 and loved it. The Wii controls aren't as stagnant as I thought, and the boss fights are really fun. I actually own both games, and Muramasa blows Odin Sphere out of the water. I had some issues with some of the controls of Odin Sphere, especially the range of attack. It's really smoothed out in Muramasa, plus the animation and style of Muramasa is so much more improved. I really like the traditional look.

It's just really easy to pick up and get into Muramasa, and it's been the only Wii game I've played. All my other Wii games are getting dusty on the shelves. It does seem a bit short, but at least there are two stories and a lot of replayability involved. I don't really see myself going through just one playthrough with it. Gotta love the sound effects too.

Finishing a storyline, there seems to be a lot of extra boss lairs and places to still explore, however I think you need to beat both storylines to increase the number of swords available to craft.

Muramasa isn't out here, but I have played both the other games done by the developer: Odin Sphere and GrimGrimoire.

I really liked Odin Sphere, but I found it incredibly frustrating at points! Some of the boss fights, even on easy or normal were exceptionally difficult. GrimGrimoire I really loved. I can't wait for Muramasa to finally arrive here!

I bought instantly after learning it was from the same team as Odin Sphere, and I am indeed enjoying the game, and it's seemingly more emphasis on fast gameplay (I guess it's because they're ninjas). I think, compared to Odin Sphere, it's really on the easy side. I mean, I've started the game instantly on hard and the only times I've died is on bosses ...and that time I felt like venturing into a dungeon way higher level than me. Bosses are quite easy once you learn the patterns.
I absolutely love collecting swords! Even if they're pretty much the same, kind of.

Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to play it much due to all the schoolwork that I have right now. Universities are brutal...

I played Odin Sphere but haven't had the chance to play Muramasa yet. I'll probably get it eventually though.

I have not played this game yet, but I loved Odin Sphere. I'm sure I'll get around to buying this once I get the money.

I just got Muramasa after seeing my friend play it at her place, and it is SUCH a gorgeous game! Even for people who have not played Odin Sphere, it is so beautiful that I have a feeling most people will like it. :3

Great game, I love the gameplay, definitely Odin Sphere taste. Played OS before, so this game was like a new cake for me (9+_+) emoticon

Yes, it does seem much easier. I've beaten both stories the first time through, and I've beaten most of the extra bosses with Momohime.

Its pretty good. Gets kind of repetitive. It reminds me of maplestory ... ... On Drugs :D! If only there were multiple characters and PvP mode / Online...ness.

I've beat both stories the first time through a while ago. I've beat all of the extra bosses and challenges but like 2 and that damn Octopus with Momohime. I just have to do most of it with the other guy who's name escapes me so that I can craft the last swords.

Supposedly there's a different ending if I do the end bosses now, now that I've beaten the game with both, but I don't know if I really want to do Momohime's again. Thing was a pain. Not hard. Just a pain.

Love Muramasa, it's definitely a keeper. The only gripe I had with Odin Sphere was the spherical stages, felt as though that was kind of awkward. Muramasa is an absolutely amazing game, but although I love the traditional Edo-era theme, I sort of miss the Nordic theme from Odin. Either way both are great games, though Muramasa feels kind of short.

I liked the muramasa game, the graphics are good and reminds me of Odin Sphere, but it felt too short and too easy even on the hardest difficulty but still is an entertaining game.
