After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Well I just started watching it two weeks ago and this anime is really freakin awesome!!
I love the story and the Mecha fights! It's one of the animes that have cool action and make me laugh all the time^^
Also Gurren Lagann has it's own cool and unique style, that makes it so awesome!
I think it will stay as one of my favourite animes in the future too.

So everyone, what are you thinking about Gurren Lagann?

Out of all the new 2007 shows, Gurren-Lagann would have to be my favorite. I've been watching since day one, and id have to say I'm really lovin' this show. They've never had a dull episode, all of them are usually action packed, surprising, or just really enjoyable. Yeah, the mecha fights are awesome! The Gurren-Lagann seems to get stronger and stronger and cooler and cooler every fight. All the characters have there own little story (some big), and everybody seems to 'evolve' as the show progresses. Its art style is really cool too. Its made by the same people who made FLCL, and that show was epic. And with what I've seen so far, Gurren-Lagann is a lot better, one of the best shows I've seen.
...BTW I claimed Yoko too! hehe ^_^

Ontopic: This show is really great. I normally don't like mecha series but this one is just different from the rest. I absolutely love every aspect of this show: the artstyle, the character design, the humor, the mecha fights, the whole show is just awesome.

btw, why wasn't there a thread about this series before?

I don't know. I don't think that many people know about this amazing show. We should make a group. The Gurren-Brigade! and then spread the Gurren Lagann love all around.

Saw the first episode of this anime... anyone else believe in love at first sight?

I didn't like FLCL AT ALL, but I really got into Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Kamina's hilarity, Simon's development, and Yoko's wit all really thread together to make this awesome series.

I've got a pack of art and scans and such I dug up from somewhere. It's all Yoko really, but some of the group shots are alright. I'll be getting a pack of Kamina and Simon pics too eventually, so I can post that up too if everyone wants.

[EDIT]: I also have the opening theme I can package quickly and upload as well. *Cough.*

I used to download the torrents through animesuki, but cuz gurren lagann had been licensed now I have no idea how to get the episodes... I'm from germany so it will take years til it arrive here... but I want to see it! ( T_T)/ emoticon
plz tell where do you get your eps from? or someone could give me a link (or pm me)

I download most my anime from anime-source.com . The fan sub group for gurren laggan that was the best in my opinion was 'Nyoro~n'. But they stopped subbing after 13 because the series was licenced. Now I watch the [BBS] version (Bullet Speed Sub). They get the episodes out really fast, and do a good job with the translations and all.

@ Spentzar: Ive seen up to episode 15. Best episode ever! But about that spoiler you said, episode 16's supposed to be a recap episode...so...
