Do you close your eyes when you shampoo your hair?

Yes, this is a stupid question. But I have to wonder, you know.
Because, you know how when you were a kid and you were afraid of getting shampoo in your eyes? I think that's were it comes from. But if there is someone who can say they actually keep their eyes open when shampooing, then brownie points for you. And a hug. ^^

What a weird question. I have to let my shampoo sit for a faw minutes, so no, I don't keep my eyes closed the whole time.
Not to say that I use my eyes. I usually shower in the dark because light hurts my eyes. (People always make fun of me for wearing sunglasses even when it's dark and cloudy)

Yeah, it's late at night for me and I cant sleep...T_T So I agree, this is a weird question. ^-^
Somehow I'm glad someone doesn't keep their eyes shut. And I don't think it's weird for you to be sensitive to light. I'm extremely sensitive to sound, myself. (The lowest volume level on my iPod hurts my ears! >,<)

I do happen to close my eyes when shampooing my hair. Something about the burning, stinging, and excruciating pain of shampoo in my eyes, is somehow not a very appealing experience. I guess I am not a masochist after all.

Sometimes I do close my eyes, somethimes not. I let the shampoo on my hair for 3-4 mins, and somethimes it smells so good that it make me close my eyes and start to smell it with passion LOL =))

I don't close my eyes while shampooing my hair. Coz when I'm shampooing I usually look at myself in front of a mirror, creating different hairstyles, and admiring my face. :P

Well when i put shmpoo in my head then i don't close my eyes but when i wash shampoo off my head then i close my eyes

Na i dont close my eye when washing the shampoo on my hair and i did the same thing as what firewalker just said

I close my eyes too...shampoo + eyes = lots of pain

I always close my eyes when I wash my hair... I think it's because of the shampoo + eyes = burning thing. I'm just too in the habbit of doing it now so I probably won't stop. Occassionally I'll open them but that's more if I need to get something or want to get my head under the shower to wash it off.
I should probably get some of that kids shampoo that stops the stinging if it does go in your eyes!
