Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Who knows him... 'da MAAAAN....

Mega Man

The Legendary blue Robot-Android created by Dr. Light to fight the Evil Forces of Dr. Wily throughout Mega Man 1-8 and in Mega Man X1-X8 fights the evil Sigma

I'm a hardcore Fan of this Series. And also one of the best Mega Man Gamers of Germany. I finished Mega Man 1-8, and 1-4 on Gameboy, and X1-X6 on SNES and PS1. Whoever is a fan of this series, and also very good at it, what were your most memrable moments throughout the whole Games? What Bosses did /Didn't you like? which one was especially annoying?
[color=red]I'm can call myself a Zero-Master. Zero is da Man, I prefer to play as him instead of Mega Man X since Mega Man X4. Zero is such a unique Character who has his own Style. you need Skill to fight with him effectively.

Let's talk about Mega Man, shall we, Mega Man Fans?

Ahhh Megaman. A classic. I haven't played the older ones, but I've played X1-X6. Then I stopped. X7 and it's 3D environment strayed to far from traditional Magaman for me the enjoy it. My most memorable moment was not exactly a good one. I had one hit left. Just one hit to beat Sigma with Zero in X4. I was so disappointed afterwards and i never got that close to beating him again. I still haven't beat Sigma with Zero in X5 either. I stopped trying after a few tries at it.

Like you, I think Zero is a lot more challenging to play with. Megaman has all of those far range attacks, but Zero has all those awesome close combat attacks. I agree that Zero requires a lot of skill to use. You have to execute the correct combination of buttons to use the right attack.

Mega Man X4 is pretty easy *laughs* ... I managed most of the Games with hardly a Strategy Guide..

Mega Man X7 and X8 I didn't play into detail, 'cause at the brink of Mega Man X6 I lost motivation already to the Games.

IMO Mega Man X6 was the hardest Mega Man X Game ever.

Mega Man 9, really, for what System? PS1?

Oh wait... my memory was a little off... Megaman 9 was what Megaman and Bass (Rockman and Forte) was referred to as during development. I believe it was released for SNES after Megaman 8 for PSOne and later re-released for GBA.

True X6 was the hardest Mega Man ever but Sigma was way too easy in it. I like Mega man series alot but the only one I didn't like was MMX8 and X7 I got two complaints: You get X way too late in the game and the armor he gets is crappy. I wish I play the Zero series.

I agree about X6 beeing the hardest Megaman and yes I also agree that Sigma is much more boring in this one. X4 I believe has the hardest Sigma battle. I didnt like X7 and command mission coz I like the 2d version of the Megaman games. X8 is fun but the X's Ultimate Armor is... too powerful(Giga Giga!), Zero's Sigma Blade is much too destructive and you can rapidfire all you want with Axle's Guns because it has unlimited ammo. Because of this, the game became much easier which can be both good and bad.

ZERO ROCKS!!!! I have memorized X4 since I played it non stop in my PC. All the patterns to kill the bosses are still with me, but my game play has deteriorated through the years, back then I was the Untouchable Zero in X4 well not anymore --__-- But I played Almost all the megaman except for Megaman 8 and Megaman X2. Zero is my forte, I maneuver better using him, I even kill enemies much cooler when i'm using him. Megaman X7 is the worst Megaman I played, it was slow and lacked the fast paced action the mega man series has. It's a good thing X8 was a big improvement from X7.

In X6 Sigma was a push over I had a harder time fighting him in X5. Sigma was hardest to beat in X3, well after I knew how to kill him he wasn't that though.

One thing I liked doing was executing all of Zero's skills one after another in a string of combo in X4, first two slashes then Shipuuga, Ryuenjin,Kuuenzan,Hyoretsuzan,Raijingenki then Rakuhoua. I just do it for exhibition purposes. ^_____^

Megaman X8 appears to be very easy after you get a number of skills and the Ultimate Armor, Black Zero and Axl's special. Oh you can perform the glitch too to get maximum amount of money.

The Megaman Zero in the Gameboy is pretty difficult too, in terms of game play and requirements. It's a very challenging game.

>_< I've played Megaman 1-8, Rockman And Forte, Megaman X-X7, Not to mentioned finished all of them. Played Megaman Zero 1-4, finished it all also... U're looking at a Zero freak here as well. I'm half as efficient when using Megaman...

Don't try to ask me abt bosses and stuff though... been ages since i last played some of them... >_<

Love megaman lol... take a look at my UP and u'll see =P

Mega Man and Base... yeah, too bad it never came out outside of Japan did it? Or did it come out in the USA? For in Europe it has never been released.

Here are my impressions so far on all th e Mega Man Games I've played:

Mega Man 1: It's sooo hard to get it in Europe. But I've got the Mega Man Classic Collection, so I could play it. Well considering the limited amount of useful Items,... it IS really hard, and it sure was hard by the time of it's release. If you cannot abuse this Select-Button Feature-Cheat you would have a hard time because in this game you don't have items like Rush, Energy-tanks, Armors etc... So considering the limited circumstances... this Game is hard

Mega Man 2: This one's a little easier, because you have items like Energy tanks and those items 1-3... The only thing you couldn't do is to slide which is enabled from Mega Man 3 on. This game had some interesting Levels indeed.
Hardest Opponent was that Dr Wily-Boss in Level 3, the level in that you have to destroy the bombs with Crash bombs.

Mega Man 3: With the Slide Function enabled, made Mega Man a more intersting. The 8 Men were quite good, but as a Mega Man Master not a match for me... the only Bosses that actually are tough are the Mega Man 2- Replicants. Once you get hit by them, u'll lose a lot of energy. Some of'em are really annoying... TheDr. Wily in that one however is a piece'a cake.
I liked the fact to get introduced to Rush, Mega Man's Dog, for the first time.

Mega Man 4-6: Well to make it short, all of'em are actually harder than the previous Mega Man Games. There's only a slight difference in their difficulty Level ... All in all I would say, those 3 Games were quite challenging, but makeable for me. If you train hard enough and dedicate a lot into these Games, like I as THE Mega Man Fan did, u'll do juuust fine. Items that I really like were the Balloons and the Rush-Rocketeer-Set (in Mega Man 6 it was I guess)
I Liked the Story of Mega Man 5. A Proto Man Look-alike abducting Dr. Light and having to fight the Proto man Levels AND the Dr. Wily Levels. Some Bosses were annoying, some less... I don't have the time to go into detail....

This is part one of my Mega Man-Experince and Impressions... All in all I'd say I disliked Mega Man 1 the most, because of the limited Items you had...

It definitely was released in territories outside of Japan and it is somewhat a given as Megaman is known as Rockman within Japan and the character Bass is known in Japan as Forte.

Out of all the Mega Man X I would have to say my fav is X2. I liked the first 3 games of the series after that capcom was just milking the cow.
As for Mega Man X6 being the hardest Mega Man game I didn't think it was that difficult you just needed to get the hang of it.
