As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

I'm from America. And I'm not fluent in anything but English. But I speak a little German, French, Spanish and Japanese. =) I'm currently progressing my French skills. I'm also quite jealous of everyone here who have developed fluencies in so many languages. That takes a lot of talent!

Nothing really to add here, but I am so envious and humbled by bi-lingual speakers. Someday, I would love to learn Lebanese (form of Arabic) since my wife is Lebanese; Mandarin Chinese since I teach kung fu, and of course, Japanese since I'm an anime geek.

Years ago, when I was in middle school, I could speak Spanish at about the 5th grade level, but I could read and write it at the high school level. After 27 years, all I can do is mangle it now.

Again, I'm in awe and impressed by people that can speak multiple languages--I salute you!

I myself am from Holland, and thereby fluent in Dutch. Coming from a country of merchants means that most of us are good at English. I myself am nearly fluent in the language, if only the american version. I know a few words German and French, but not enough to make myself understanable. My knowledge of Japanese is limited to a few words picked up from anime only. Reading skills in Japanese are aproximately zero. The only kanji I can remember is the one for 'big'

O_O Oh boy!
I feel myself truly small regarding you if I think that all speeches at least two languages -_-'''''
I am Italian, sicialian of precise, and I speak and write only a little bit of English (and also badly). To say the truth one of the reasons for which I am enrolled to a forum where speaks English it is just for being able to make practical with the language, because here I don't have way to make it less than I don't attend some expensive course >_<!
Fortunately I have the passion for the manga and are also much curious, therefore often I don't succeed to attend the escape of the next volumes for knowing what it will happen so I look for the scans in English on internet :P plus I find also many manga that here in Italy doesn't escapes, just like that I have found this forum :).
But I am getting lost in the speech ^^''''. Returning to us I think that is much beautiful to find many persons that share (who more, who less) same passion for anime and manga and at the same time they belong to many various countries *_____*

I am from America. Indiana is the state. I speak English and some Spanish (I have only taken 4 years of in class work) I would love to learn more though. I am always interested in new things and love to discover more about other countries and languages. I have only been to one other country (unfortunatly I wish I could say more), Mexico, and they mostly spoke English in that area, but loved it when I attemped to speak Spanish to them. I just love to learn new things about other cultures, languages, countries and the people.

Yeah it's nice to know that AP is such an international thing :D
I live in Italy too but I lived a little in the USA, so I speak italian and decent english.
I'm studying japanese right now... I'm totally unable to understand it at the moment but who knows! in a year or two of hard work I could be able to make a little conversation. That would make the effort worth it ;)
