WOW I really do think the Gundam pilots are screwed now. The Union have a Flag which can match up to the Gundam speed and power wise(except underwater), I can't see how you expect the Gundam pilots to win from this. An anti-beam coating would make all the weapons of the Gundam useless except beam sabers. Even the Gundams aren't equipped with a anti-beam coating.
Also about the Gundam solar thing. Yea I thought that it wasn't powered by the sun. The particles it produce are done by a reaction within the engine, a particle that was discovered by accident.
Anyway how do the Human Reform League expect to get their hands on a Gudam since now the Union have a large advantage over them. I know the will probably get out some new mobile suite which is better than the tieren but still I doubt theirs can match the mobility of the Union Custom Flag.

But seriously, anti beam coating works only works on beam shots. The Kyrios and the Dynames are useless here since both are reliant on their beam cannons. But the Exia has swords (a total of 7. 1 long blade/not shown, the buckler blade, the short blade/not shown, 2 combat knives, 2 beam swords) and the virtue has the positron cannon. Now the virtue's positron cannon is not a beam gun. It is closer the plasma gun in a sense.
And about the strike's Launcher cannon vs the Virtue's Positron cannon, that is not happening. Strike's Launcher cannon is simply a high powered cannon. Nothing more. It is not an extremely destructive, tear the enemy to pieces until there is nothing left, muzzle so big that you can the shot, kind of gun.

Where did you get THAT info from? MAHQ.net?
The system is called the 7 sword system. The model has a collection of 7 swords so the same applies here. The big one is not shown and the knives haven't made an appearance yet, but the beam swords are definitely there.

I just watched it myself after downloading it. The Celestial Beings are definitly smart, taking the fact that Tairbain(something like this) was at war with the Union than forcing them to become allys.
The Custom Flag was more powerful than I expected. Really fast, really fast.
Anyway the Super Soldier Girl. What mobile suite can the Human Reforme League make to combate the Gundam, their Teiren is outmatched by Flag.

The tieran is slow as hell. Based on the observations, the AEU experimental model if mass produced would be superior to the Tierans by a long mile. But the flag's upgrades puts a strain on the user.

I saw that somehwere. It was mentioned on a website I was reading that Exia has 7 blades in total. It was a gundam website so no he is not a gundam geek.

Oh...haha. I meant the geek part as a joke, hopefully I didn't offend him.
But regardless, I didn't know there was a weapon system for Gundams known as the "Seven Sword System"
I honestly just want to see more setsuna. at the moment his personality creeps me out. he sees a bund of happily smiling families, then imagines them blown into little meaty chunks. he either needs serious therapy or someone to kill. hopefully both.
I want to see the Dynames in more serious combat. One or two minutes of action is not exactly my idea of a lot. Exia has at least twice their screen time.

I hate it badly. I personally not a big fan of gundam (I love to build gundam model though) but the new Gundam 00 is a biggest disappoint of the year. From the concept to the mech/character design everything just too WRONG!!! the mechs is a total rip off from other animes (innocent vinus, code geass, eureka seven... you name it) ; character design look too Shoujo, at first I can't barely tell who male who female. New Type USA was right when they said "gundam hater will find Gundam 00 interesting", since it make real gundam fan hate their belove series. I really want have a personal talk to the director of Gundam 00

Code Geass is also a Sunrise anime.
So if they ripped it off from somewhere, then its definitely from that anime.
They probably got the idea for the kind of character designs they want from Code Geass as well.

I dunno, I kinda like it. I haven't seen those other animes yet, sooo...haha, no rip off disappointment for me.
I'd like to see more Kyrios and Dynames Gundams in action. Exia gets a lot, and I love it, but I want to see what Kyrios and Dynames are capable of also in a lot of combat. And it looks like Exia's going to get a lot more screen time in the next episode.
Concerning ep. 5, I wonder what the backstory to most of the pilots are? We've seen a little development from Tieria and Allelujah, but nothing about Stratos. And aside from that, what's with that funky telepathic link between him and the super soldier? It's insane...
Then again, I suppose that's why Allelujah was a Gundam Meister to begin with. And what's Tieria's beef with breaking orders? I mean, sure, the captain seems a bit disappointed, but Tieria is like going all critical on Allelujah. Haha, I bet ya Tieria was the "failed" one of his family.
