RPG's Game......(ps1 of course)
R you still interested in rpg game.......The legend of dragoon, Wild Arms 1 & 2, Tales of destiny 2,Suikoden 1 & 2,
Legend of Legaia, The journey to the west, Grandia, Pesona, F.fantasy 7/9, Lunar, Arc the lad, Chrono Cross......and more.........
Eventhough the graphic were not nicer that ps2 or (ps3?) but these game gave me alot of memory....
Spending time to find ways to complete the side quest......or even finding money,companion(suikoden2)...
The hardest thing is we hav to trained them up!!!!
So......continue to love RPG.........^_^

Id still like to play suikoden 2 if i still had a ps1 :P
I'd like to play Legend of Legaia and Star Ocean 2 again. I wouldn't mind playng Grandia but i can't find one anywhere.
I have a PS1 and i still play Suikoden 1. I wish i had the second one but i don't but i played it before. I also still play Wild Arms. Loved those games.
Suikoden 2 is actually nicer than suikoden 1 (that's for me ^_^) coz there were about 100 of character( i think) and the graphic,character and the background were improve....

I was thinking of ordering SO2 with my Xenogears (even though I've played and beat both of them) but SO2 still costs $30-$40. I was like wow... too bad it never made it to Greatest Hits.

Graphics smaffics! It's the story and gameplay that counts, and the PS1 had tons of great RPG's I could play again and again (many of which I've beaten at least 3 times each).
I totally know how you feel Rosehawk333, Grandia is so hard to come by these days. I was lucky a friend had the game so that I had a chance to play it, but I really wish I had my own copy.
I'm not currently playing any old RPG's, been to busy with my recent job, but my roommates girlfriend just started up of Wild Arms earlier this week. It makes me really look forward to playing it again (or at least the remake when they finally get around to releasing it out here).

I want to go back to playing Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross again. Those two are truly classics. And I must play Final Fantasy 7 again, since it's been so long since I've last played it.
Suikoden I & II were a hit for me. I've played Suikoden I twice and Suikoden II three times, if I still have time I would pop Suikoden II in my PS2 and play again for the fourth time. I love both games although Suikoden II was better since the Hero from Suikoden I can join my party if I load the game save from Suikoden I. That was the coolest part since the Hero had the Soul Eater rune. Chrono Cross was also a wonderful game, great graphics, awesome music, and wonderful storyline to boot. Tales of Destiny 1 and 2 were also wonderful games. If you played 2 and haven't played 1, you should! Although the Tales of Destiny 2 that was released in the US isn't the real sequel of 1, that was what disappointed me. I believe the Tales of Destiny 2 that was released in the US, was actually Tales of Phantasia in Japan. Not sure, maybe I remembered wrong, but I know ToD 2 on the PS1 wasn't a sequel of the first one.

Final Fantasy 3,4 and most definately 7! Best of all times...

All of the Suikoden games have used the 108 stars system. I haven't played 4 though, since Suikoden 3 caused me to lose all faith I had in the series.
Legend of Dragoon is the worst RPG I've ever played, btw.
Yeah, there were a lot of nice RPG games for PS1. One of the best RPGs I've played was Chrono Cross. It was a beautful and fun game. Hmm..maybe I should play it once more, just to re-experience those feelings I had :).
Another great RPG for PS1 was FFVII (that made me start playing RPG games). It was incredible. Even though I completed it, there was still a lot to do afterwards, like collecting all the materias, weapons and max the level of the characters in the game. But I don't think I can play it again because I have played too many times :P.
Grandia was also a great game. It had a great story which kept me playing through both discs.
For me PS1 had a lot more fun RPG games than those for PS2. It brought me a lot of fine memories B).

Don't tell me none of you people have played Valkyrie Profile? Great game, awesome battle system, quite a rare gem at that. It's pretty expensive in eBay or in the used video game piles, but if you manage to get your hands on one, consider yourself lucky.

Whoa man, rpg's on the the ps1, whee.. i remember the days. good ol' days, hahah, but the thing i remember the most, is wasting my whole study week on one particular game. it was the week before my "mock" exams (sorta like test runs a couple of months before the finals hahah).. they gace us a week off.. and i spent the whole week playin final fantasy 9.. muahaha. i finished it in 7 days. spent more than 10 hours a day playing it. i honestly don't know how i squeezed all that time in. i got a right arse-kickin from my dad when that week was over. muahaha.
erm, does legend of mana count as an rpg? :lol: i really liked that too.. hehe. real time combat system and cutesie graphics and all. oh well, bye now.

Hmm ps1 huh XD ..... StarOcean 2, FF7-9 , Legend of Legaia, Luna 2. really miss playing them.
