Non - Repetitive Games
Are there any non repetitive games out there or any games that you've played over and over and still haven't gotten tired of ?

That’s where the term “replay value” came into play I think. Although for the most part it would be easier to relate games to movies in that case. You can only watch em so many times until there is no more eye candy left to eat…
I’d say Guardian Heroes held the longest standing “replay value” for me. In the vs. mode of the game you could customize a 2D arena style fighting match between as many as 6 players in x amount of teams in varying ranges of difficulty with over 100 types of characters to choose from; whom gradually become unlock from making advancements in story mode. It was fun to make a challenge by my self, or having a frag fest with a bunch of visiting friends. I’ve been lurking around to find a working Saturn emulator so that I might try it out again for a bit.
Oblivion might be a good pick for you though, depending if hardcore rpg is your genera. The map to explore is over the size of Connecticut, it has over 1400 NPCs whom all look different and all have a varying 24 hour schedule to keep up with, over 100 dungeons to explore, a main story line to follow or endless amount of side quests to complete, and it is very promising to say that Bethesda Gaming will continue to make a number of expansions for it. To top it off there are a great number of mods that you can download off the net adding in any kind of tweak or additive in the game you can think of (PC version only).

i remember that guardian heroes, looks like characters from the anime slayer. yup, that's one gaming mode i like which is also featured in Yu Yu Hakusho in genesis. Panzer Bandit in PSone plays very similar to guardian heroes. most fighting games doesn't feel this way and when you're playing alone, you will get easily bored. see also BleachDS, one of the best bleach games out there
I can't stop playing FF9. Everytime I beat it I want to play it again. It's just so fun. Also, Tales of Symphonia is a good, one of my favorites at least. Another one of my favorites is Xenosaga 1 & 2.
I think it's a "cheap" answer, but I'd group in any primarily online multiplayer game with any considerable depth into the category of non-repetitive games. I'll use Battlefield 2 as an example. Every round begins and ends the same way, and victory can be acheived in several ways that do not change anytime you play. However, the human element makes games like this non-repetitive for me, because other people can be so unpredictable and so hard to read that every game you play is essentially a different game every time.
For primarily single-player games, I would choose games from the Civilization and Alpha Centauri series, simply because you are given a lot of choices at the beginning that dictate how the rest of the game plays out, and none of those choices are really like each other. You can choose to expand your empire early, and build infrastructure for growth, or you can go on the warpath immediately, or you can use diplomacy to persuade your allies to fight for you...things like that make these games non-repetitive for me too.

really, try Xenogears and Tales of Destiny, i think you'll like it too, same genre.. the only RPGs that i can play over and over again is Final Fantasy VII and Kingdom Hearts II, other else are just one shot for me just to know the story is enough
Actually, the fire emblem series have EXCELLENT replay value...not only are there numerous combinations to "level up" your guys, the huge amount of a-link conversation cutscreens are worth it for the replay...
oh yeah, never forget starcraft on bnet ;)
mariokart, ,goldeneye, perffect dark, ocarina of time, super smash...the n64 oldies

I agree with the post above mine. Mario Kart 64 and the Super Smash Bros. series will get you playing without stopping.
However the best game you can play without getting bored is MONOPOLY!

Easy answer, Super Smash Bros. Melee!!
It will have you playing for years and years, I have it already for like 4 years and I
continue playing. And when my friend come over it's total madness XD
Seriously, it's one of the best GC games.
But if your in for single player experience go for Tales of Symphonia,
I have already beaten it 8 times, it is totally roxorz =D

Wow! I've only beaten it about 3 times. It is an awesome game. I like to play it once in awhile and I always use the same characters in my party.

It is better when you try different combinations of characters in the party =D
It makes your experience feel like a new one ;D
I would say that Resident Evil 4 has great replay value. I've been playing that game nonstop since the game was released over a year ago. I don't know what is actually give me the urge to play over and over again. Maybe because theres quite alot of different ways to make the game abit different, like choosing different weapons or making new runs like Handgun only run.
All the Final Fantasys have amazing replay value! I've started 100's of new games on pretty much every one of them. Theres just something about them that keeps dragging you back for more! I think I've played Final Fantasy VII the most so thats a good game to get. (I'm guessing nearly everyone has this game anyway.)

I'll be sure to scope some of those out. Thanks for the tip Elleztim ;)
The Dynasty Warriors series, I still play the over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again...
And I still like them, how repetitive they may be. ^^

Tales of Symphonia definitely has great replay vallue for a single player game, as well as Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. Shooting games are usually replayable, too, since new things can happen every time. Online games are always great because you never know what other people might do.

boo
uuu~ waat~ :0 muahaha~ XD

This little bastard is mine!
