I know most of you otakus out there enjoy watching anime and reading manga but have any of you watched a J-Drama before? If so which ones?

1 Litre of Tears (its based on a true story, i recommend it! brought tears to my eyes) and 1 missed call
Hmm I'll remeber those. I recommend watching Hana Yori Dango the live version or Densha Otoko.
I watch Great Teacher Onizuka, Water Boys 1 and 2, Umizaru, The Kuitan, The Jikembo of Hajime Kindaichi and The Engine...

My mother watches a lot of Japanese and Korean dramas. I don't personally watch them, as I prefer anime, as you could probably tell, but every now and then when we eat together we watch it... even though I'm not all into that kind of stuff. In the event that I do for some series, they're awesome. She doesn't own a collection, but she rents a lot of them each week from Asian video stores.
Yeah, gokusen is really good. I've alot of others to like pride, long vacation, and Strawberry on the Shortcake.
My friend from hawaii actually sent me "Heaven's Coins 1 and 2" and "To Heart 1 and 2" (both live action) and I think that they both look pretty good. I am looking forward to watching more of the series that I have.

I've seen several good ones...my favorite being Lunch Queen (how can they capture the beauty of food so well), H2, Gokusen 1 (season 2 was just the same rehash), and that horrible Hana Yori Dango (gads I hated it), Pride and Good Luck.
Highly recommended: Goong (Kdrama), It Started with a Kiss (tdrama), Tokyo Juliet (tdrama), Meteor Garden (tdrama) and Devil Beside You (tdrama)...all based from mangas/manhwas <sp>.

Well...i dont really like dramas (they are quite popular here in my country, so I have enough of them XD) but I admit that I did watch on episode of densha otoko in a winamp channel several months ago....and, oh my god :O, I enjoyed it XD
I love Gokusen, I think Yamaguchi-sensei is SO adorable! Also, I've watched GTO and Densha Otoko all the way through, and I've started Hani Yori Dango. All cute.
