Sypnosis:
Yuuno Scraia is a mage from a distant planet working to fix the problem he started when Jewel Seeds were accidentally spread around the world. In a failed attempt to seal a seed properly, he winds up on Earth in the form of a ferret. However, his battle with the seeds did not end upon reaching the Earth and he needs somebody else's help to seal the seeds for him. Takamachi Nanoha hears his telepathic cries for help and comes to his rescue. When she is given a pearl known as the Raging Heart she is able to transform into Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha and wield a staff to fend off the evil that lies within the Seeds. In order to help Yuuno complete his mission, she needs to seal all 21 Jewel Seeds away, but Fate may be playing a hand in the matter to prevent Nanoha's goals.

It isnt your typical mahou shoujo show, since it contains alot of action, and good ones at that too. There are some really good fight scenes, especially in A's. It isnt anything amazing, but it is a very good show and if you like the mahou shoujo genre it wont disappoint.

I believe that this series has its enchantment
This series was awesome in my book. The first season was pretty good, but it was the second season that made me take notice of what a great series this is. I wasn't expecting much from the second season but it blew me away with all the magical action (love all the super-powerful magic attacks they show off) and great fight scenes. The ending was very satisfying as well. Bottom-line a great magical girl series.
Really, there's going to be a third season! I haven't heard anything about that, but if its true I'm eagerly looking forward to it!

Nanoha!! Nanoha A's!! Well, it's not the commom mahou shoujo with the monster of the week, having a enjoyable storyline, carismathic characthers, explosions and magical barriers combined with ten years old wizard girls? It's wonderful, I love the anime, I can't wait 'til third season.
I personally like the A's more than the first season, the Knights and the new system of the staffs gave a action burst in the series, the fights were more and more impressive, I'm expecting at least the same from the third season.

Histories of magical girls are those that but abound
I loved this show! it was awesome, the action and everything about it. i like the second season more than the first however. lookin forward to the 3rd season! theyre all freshmen!!

It's a really nice series. the first season started off kind of slow, but A's was awesome. went straight to fighting right from the start. the only thing i find hard to believe about this series is the heroine are 8-10 year old girls :D. but heck you don't see that everyday in other anime. and yes, there will be a 3rd season!! it has been confirmed at AniDB.net. can't wait to see it.
