You can check by go into your BIOS or by using software such as SpeedFan or Everest.
What's BIOS?
The BIOS is your motherboard's setup and configuration area along with baseline computer operation management. When you restart your computer, the very first screen should say on the bottom "Press (key) to enter setup". The (key) is usually Del or F10 but not always so press whatever key it says to press.
Inside the BIOS there are a number of different options. DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. Inside one of the menu options should show your CPU temp.

Aaahhh...I see...I need to restart my PC first so that I can see the temp of it..then how anout that software speedfan...are they really going to tell me my PC temp.?
Yes it will...
If that doesn't work, try Everest. Also try any temperature monitoring/overclocking software that came with your motherboard.

Here are a few more for you.
If you're hardcore, you can check BIOS as mentioned above to check your CPU temperature. Whenever my splash screen appears when I turn on my computer, it shows the temperature at the bottom of the screen, but that's just for my BIOS/motherboard. So I don't have to go through that extra step. :P
If you want to be able to constantly monitor your CPU temperature via a program or some desktop widget, Motherboard Monitor is a great tool for picking up information gathered from your CPU's sensor. This information includes CPU temperature, as well as other miscellaneous information that you might or might not need.
SpeedFan is another monitoring utility that lets you adjust fan speeds (if your hardware supports it), it also reads CPU temperatures.
There are plenty more out there, but these two are what some google searches yielded for me. I tried MBM in the past and it worked great for me.

You can try everest here: Everest
They've stopped officially supporting Everest Home edition, but it's still functional.
Temperatures are under computer, and then under the sensor section.

Thanks for that guys...

Install Everest from Lavalays and you'll have the indication of temperatures or check if there's a motherboard monitoring program in your motherboard cd.
Well...just wanna ask before downloading those stuff...
well...just wanna be ensure...does those link up there doesn't have any virus connected..

Dear god. They're files on commercial sites... just how paranoid are you? Besides what's the point of having a virus scanner if you don't allow it to protect you?
Hhhmmm..well...just wanna be alert...
by the way...what should be the normal temp. of your computer?

It varies depending on the components and the environment it is in. You'd need to consult the documentation from your chip manufacturer to find its operational temperature range.
Ahhh...I see...
