This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Hello everyone!

I have been wondering about this lately. What if the world and all people and things in it, everything, everyting in it would be perfect. And i mean 100% perfect, flawless. In all aspects. What would be the world like?? Would it be a better place or even worse? Or would it have no major effect?? Would it be a good thing or bad?? Why?? Why not?

The world that is, as of now, is obviously not perfect. Especially us, the humans, we are not at all perfect. Everyone has a flaw in themselves, big or small flaw. But there is always a flaw.

However, what if this would not be so? All humans would be perfect. And they had no flaws whatsoever!
How would the world be like?

Umm.....please don't just say that everything would be perfect and thats all! Describe it a little or as much as you can and/or want to......

Voice your imagination(s) and thought(s), guys and gals/girls/ladies/ etc......

Warm regards,
The Firestorm

What if the world is perfect...well what is perfection? and how do we know what perfection is? Perfection to one person may be a completely different idea from another person's perfection. For example, one might view perfection as having good looks, another view of perfection is to be happy or some people might even say that the world is perfect as it is. Who or what decides what perfection is? However, in my opinion of a perfect world is a world that everyone would be happy as long as they do not interfere with the rights of others. But this world isn't perfect because some people would want to interfere with other people's lives , thus making them un-happy...a paradox.

In a perfect world there's no need for the Idea of a Utopia.

one could be flippant and egocentric and say "in my perfect world giant chocolate bunnies would be hollowed out and used as a mode of transportation" or some such thing, but truth be told, there's nothing productive in just saying what your perfect world is, I think it was Ghandi who said, "everyone tries to change the world, but no one tries to change themselves" If you want to make your "perfect" world(or as perfect as it's going to be) go do something about it, don't just sit around fantasizing.

Hmm...if that happen i will be happy because no war, no one Fear, no anger, no hate, there will be no suffering in the world. I love the idea if 100% perfect world, every one is the same like "family" means nobody gets left behind leave no one behind. I still no sure about the 100% perfect world if it will have the compassion because every one is the same and "whithout sufferring, there would be no compassion"... We can ecscap the reality world as it said "Reality is objective on sight, subjective on thought. In that world we all might be relying on someone without knowing it. Only slightly, so we didn't even notice it. That world will be wonderful or not i don't know but "Better that i should wrong the world than the world should wrong me. It may failed but it is will of Heaven. Let make a perfect world

Perfection here means, flawlessness. Zero errors, zero mistakes etc...etc...
True, one person will view perfection differently than the other. But to get on the same page, i have said that ' all be perfect. And the 'all' includes, well.....everyting! From the person's looks to his/her attitude, career, way of thinking etc.....
And this perfection not only applies to humans but also to other beings on the planet. But it applies mainly on humans, though!

And just being happy is perfection to you? What kind of happiness?? Happy with job, family life etc....
Or happy with everything there is??

Warm regards,
The Firestorm

In one simple word . . . BORING, mistakes, flaws, trouble and problems is what make life worth living for if we lived in a perfect world were everithyng is rigth and good and you dont have to care or worry I dont think any of us will feel confortable, cuz admit it, we love imperfection we love challenges we love seen something wrong and try and make it better (papers anyone . . O_o jejeje), besides there is no such thing as utter happiness, becuse you need to feel sorrow and sadness to realy know what happiness is . . .

Besides as Osaka said what is perfection, it does not mean the same thing to everyone; I remember hearing about a man that wanted a world of perfection some guy I thing his name was Adolf something . . . would you like to live in his "perfect" world ?

It depends at which angle would you be looking at this world of perfection. What i mean is this, if you were to live in this world as you are now, i'm sure you would eventually go insane or even kill yourself. At the moment, every action and decision which you make can be judged as either a good thing or a bad thing, or even right/wrong. Even if you think that the action such as "i'm going to blow a spit bubble ^-^" means nothing one could still consider it as a good action in the way that it is not harming anyone, unless somehow your spit emits toxins. ahem, however in a perfect world, everything would always be considered as the ok/right choice. Along with that everyone would be polite, have eternal happiness, and never judge you in a negative way. There would be no point to life unless you're be able to be content just staring at nature for the rest of your life. At first it would seem as something incredible being able to commit crimes, makes lots of money, buy many things, etc etc, but what do you do when you have everything in the world? For example, you would play a game with someone and if you were to win, the opponent would smile and be completely content in merely playing the game. o_O there would be absolutely no point in doing anything anymore. In a larger scaled example, you would would have everything material wised, already found someone to "love" and spend the rest of your life with, have a nice house, and...live a bland life. Perhaps its just myself who could not live in this world

I would always prefer the world that has conflictions and imperfections. With that, there is always room to improve and things to stimulate the mind. I'm not saying you need a world which is like doomsday armegedon, World War i nuclear winter scenario but more like the way things are in those European countries like Sweeden or something. No offense intended to anyone but personally I just like how things are runned there, everything is for the most part clean, people are friendly etc etc. Sure you still have social dilinquents who will always crop up every now and then but when you compare them to war-torn countries in Africa for example it just seems like complete opposites.

Boring, hot damn, the hell would there be to do?
you have good looks, you have money and you have a batch of hot virgins (lol)

then what? it stops right there, because there is NOTHING in your live that is worth living for anymore, everything is achieved, you win! gg now what? YOU HAVE NO GOALS, YOU HAVE NO REASON TO BE ALIVE. Eternal happiness is boring with its best friend eternal sin, and since everyone is perfect, sinning is a thing of the past, or we sin and not know about it. since being perfect clearly means being innocent and not knowing the problems of the world, we would literally live in the golden age.

*nods at Spentzar*

The old saying goes: "When all your wishes have been granted, all of your dreams have been destroyed."

As far as a "perfect" world where "humans" are "perfect", I say hogwash and poppycock. The nature of humanity is to seek more and more "perfection". You have the perfect home, the perfect spouse, the perfect children, and the perfect dog. What if your neighbor is homosexual, a cat lover, or loves to rent apartments? Your life is now crap as far as he/she is concerned. Humanity cannot be involved in "perfection". The ultimate goal of the Buddhist faith ("Nirvana" . . . not the band) is total perfection of emotion and complete awareness. To achieve this, your humanity must be lovingly stripped away. It's a hard thing to deal with, but only when we are perfectly aware of how imperfect we are as people can we hope to reach inner peace. The best any of us can hope for is the perfect awareness to see the imperfections of life and accept them with loving kindness and curiosity. We have to love picking up socks and love cleaning out cat boxes to be truly happy.
If we are projecting a magical world of total happiness . . . I think the ancient samurai had it right. The only true perfect reality would be total oblivion. Since all things die and all things are broken, the only happiness would be the end of everything. At the risk of sounding morbid, that would be a much better existence (or lack thereof) than eternally blissing over complete mundanity. Having a perfect little happy (sterile, unchanging, static, permanent) life would be a terrifying and unreasonable way to live!

Regards, Aaron

For a perfect world there must not be any crime, PC & Macs would be free and super fast, People use 90% of their brain, we would not have pollution in our water systems, we would all live in luxurious houses. This all would be pretty good and perfect but then again for a world where people use 90% of their brain, everybody's personality might be the same. Also for the world to be very perfect, we would have an anime shop in every town around the world. I really wish for one coz we don't have an anime shop in my town. Anime is only starting to get popular where I live.
Actually coming to think of it, a perfect world would actually be worse. We would all get so used to being perfect that it will become boring. I like the world how it is now. Everything is different and everybody have a bad day sometime.

I,agine if we have a perfect world why woould I have goals or challenges or dremas and hopes, If I have a perfect world, for me that would be so boring. Also if we have a perfect world that people ideas of preserving planet would change. And what are you calling perfect: no pollution, no need to work, no poverty, no papers, no death penalty, no angry people, no drugs, no vicious.

WEll if we do live in a perfect world... then it'll just be a boring world. Nothing on the news that happend except "A good samaritin yet again gives money". and that'll be it for the news. No terrorist bombings, i mean i don't like this stuff to happen, but there'll be no hot topics to talk about. No goss. People in the media field will be out of work.

ACtually i don't think there is a perfect world. I think its impossible to achieve. i mean if something good happens then something bad must happen to compensate. or thats what i believe. Like the saying in FMA "You cannot gain anything without sacrificing something of equal value".

i don't think anyone can live in a perfect world. with so many different views on different topics, i'm sure there'll be discussion and even fights about it.

FirestormII
The world that is, as of now, is obviously not perfect. Especially us, the humans, we are not at all perfect. Everyone has a flaw in themselves, big or small flaw. But there is always a flaw.

Yes i agree with you that everyone has a flaw but thats what makes them unique. different. If we lived in the world where everyone had no flaw then would we have a diversity of cultures as we do today? Maybe flaws are there for us to use not to hate. But no doubt that in the future we'll never have a perfect world.
