Do Real Men Wear Pink?
I always thought that the saying "Real Men Wear Pink" rings true. I think it takes a lot of balls to wear a color, which as a society views as being a girly color. Also our society views that if your a man and wear pink, then you must be gay. I think that no matter if your gay, straight or whatever it takes a lot of courage to beyond what our society views as being normal and wear pink. Thats why I believe Real Men Wear Pink. What do you think?

Hm... i see a lot mans, boys who wear pink clothes and they dont look gay or something like that

It's not make too much problem if the men wearing in pink. Maybe in the past, it is occured because the men don't wear the bright color as their clothing's color, that's make the women use it first, and it become an usual thing, the men use the pink, it just like a women. ^^ But for me, it's okay to wear any clothing's color as long as it has a good design. ^^

Well, I love to wear pink shirts very much, I must admit. I also thought that wearing Pink is a shame for boys,... but in my opinion it isn't. That doesn't make me gay. My friends didn't complain or make fun of me because of that.

What kind of question is that? how come wearing PINK makes a man an "unreal" man?
I do think that it doesn't matter what color a person is wearing or more specifically a man, what is the relation of PINK to being GAY? Its not that the society thinks of the idea of "man are most likely a gay if he wears PINK", its not the society but the MEN, they think of it as a shame to wear that color, PINK, because of that most GIRLS like PINK. They want an image that they are tough and all, that's why wearing PINK is a shame. All of those views combined with society are from MEN themselves.
Because the color PINK stands for feminity, MEN who thinks as themselve as MASCULINE and all dont want to try a new view of fashion, that might test that MASCULINITY, thinking that, masculinity is based from what they wear, that masculinity can be stained wearing the color PINK.
Its not the color PINK, that talks or moves, its how that person carry it. Unless MEN accepts that the color PINK isn't just for GIRLS, that view of society won't change.

Well, men will still be men even though they're wearing pink, just like girl is still a girl even though they are wearing trousers. Clothes not changing people. Colors not making men become a gay. There are various clothes nowadays, so many colors you can pick. Pink is just one of them, just like when you choose white or black. But seeing a guy with pink clothes isn't something usual for me, because my bro loves black like I do, so I admit It's a bit strange to see men in pink. But no problem with it.

Well Melina, if you are a really nice looking guy (like me for example), then pink is just fine.
Not everyone can wear it though. Only men with a nice tan I think. If you are as white as snow, then you really look like gay :/

I don't think pink are only for women. One of my teacher, he is a hippy and his fave color is pink (and he's a real man cus he have a son already)

Hmm.I don't wear pink, also i not care much if that is the girl color, beside that it just color. In my point of view the color is one of the thing that show the person, how is the person and who is that person. Some people think if the man wear pink it mean he is gay, but look back some time it is the dark side of our socity that what i think.

IT's not that i mind the color pink on guy's but it's the whole message it carries with it. In our school it's i wear pink i'm cool now i'm gangsta. That is the reason i dont want to wear pink. As well as the fact that it doesn't suit me.

It is true what other men think of a guy wearing pink (specially un my country), personaly I dont care much, but I dont like wearing bright colors so I would never wear pink or so. And I also think it depends on what kind of cloths your are wearing U_U seriosly Im not a fashion kinda guy thats probably why I find some clothes to be a bit wierd ^^U, I mean when you see a shirt with flashy thingies, little golden spheres and boardings and you see its a man shirt . . . hey dosent matter what color that is in ^^U like hell im wearing that

I think guys wearing pink look sweet! in a man-ly way too...It bring out the warm in them! It does not make them look one bit like gay or abnormal. Because looking "gay" is mainly from one's action (walking posture, the way he talk and etc) and not from what he wear. I'll say someone is gay if he act like 1 and not wear like 1!
