This wallpaper is actually a Scan i cleaned, and I was wondering if it was decent enough to be upped here.

Uploaded to the scans area? Hmm, to be sure check the AP rules regarding uploading scans and check if this reaches the standard size that is needed. Remember, the actual images that can be used is the basis for the size, not the whole scan itself.

Can you be more specific as to what area's need work. Telling me that it needs work doesn't help at all.

First off, it's not even a regular sized/resoluton walpaper. Just a "cleaned" scan. It's a tad saturated and along the character on the right's arm is still not cleaned well, nor is the thing on the upper left. Can't you see the pixelation/artifacting? It's a scan right? it's much too busy. Too many characters in one wall. You should really extract someone and work on that one portion.

My bad.. whatever same things apply and when up closer, it's even worse the artifacting.. >_<

It means you have to do add more effects to it than just cleaning it. Work on it more. Add details and such. Depends on which details you want to add. Uploading it to the wallpapers area, when it looks exactly like the original scan only cleaner, i think, would get it rejected. But it might be accepted at the scans area.

Please check the info regarding the link you posted. About a scan being accepted as a wallpaper before.

As WhiteBlaze wrote, he made a lot of adjustments to the scan, and added a lot of details like the planes, smoke and explosion effects.

Heck people, stop bickerin' each other and check back for reference.

Here is what I think, it is a great scan overall, and to be wallpaperized (is that a word?!) I would suggest adding elements to it, I dunno, since the scan is kinda dark, and after you cleaned it , it is even more son, I would suggest that you add something to it, I dunno, would you consider modifying the background as your own? I mean, instead of leaving it as a scan turned into wallpaper, how about extraction and making background of your own instead?
That may be good. Otherwise, I would say it is good enough, but I rather the whole thing is brighter.

Photobucket doen't resize if the image is under 512kb (There's a setting that you have to change in your account settings), and it looks 1600x1200 to me.

Did you check to see if your browser re-sized it to fit your browser, cause its 1600x1200 on mine.

Yes I see it now. notice my edit. Still, the same cleaning problems apply. It's just super saturated now and not far from the scan. I dont know if it'll be accepted for that reason. Plus it's really busy this scan.

I did that because in real life, at night, with no lights, with a bright souce of lights (Like Mai's Child there), it would look similar to this.

It also gives a dark mood to the image.
