Fate/stay night
Geneon released a curtain trailer in their site for the anime, Fate/stay night. The trailer is about 6 minutes long, so you will be treating yourself to quite a few things. Fate/stay night is scheduled to be aired on Japan sometime in January 2006. It has been licensed by Geneon for the statewide release. Release date is unknown at this point.

I have had my eye on this anime for quite some time. According to ANN, it is related to Shingetsutan Tsukihime. Maybe because it was made by the same company? I liked Tsukihime, so I am rather looking forward to the release of this one. I am still hoping that fansub groups pick it up.
This anime has a relation to a game called Fate/Hollow Ataraxia and Fate/stay night. If interested, here is the Official Site of the games. I don't have much knowledge of the games, but from the looks of it, characters from the games make their appearances in the anime.

Two of the main characters, perhaps? The girl is Rin Tohsaka and the guy, from what the translation says, is Emiya Shirou.

Some of the Servants that have been shown. There are a couple more shown, but I'll let you see them for yourself.
I checked out both the official site of the anime and the game. By the looks of it, the game is somewhat like a dating sim, much like how Tsukihime was. Now, I'm even more interested on how they are going to proceed with this one. Once the real thing releases, and if fansub groups do pick it up, I'll do a more thorough review on the anime. (Unless you can get the review up first before me, I'm booking this one for myself. =P )
What is your view on this upcoming anime?

Actually, I think it has a relation to the game Fate/Stay Night (also by Typemoon)

Both games have the same characters. So it can be said that the anime has a relation to both games. Thank you for pointing that out.
The have different stories. Not to mention Fate/Hollow has like 3 or 4 new characters including the old ones. Man I'll tell you one thing though. They made most of the secnes like the ones in the game. Like the bottom one when Saber is fighting Lancer. It almost looks Identical to the CG of the game.Actually, I think it has a relation to the game Fate/Stay Night (also by Typemoon)

It has been awhile, but it is finally out! Fate/Stay Night is officially out and being fansubbed at the moment. So far, Eclipse Productions (responsible for Shakugan no Shana subbing) is the first to sub this. I'll do a more extensive review, but I believe that seeing more than one episode is needed.
I'm in the middle of downloading it now [1ep] :P since I had nothing to bt for a few days. And I too saw it has someting to do with Shingetsutan. Though the screen shot on AnimeNewsNetwork looked strangely different than Shingetsutan at first.
I watched the first eps in raw, and I'm a little disappointed... it was quite annoying for a first one.
It's all about explanation and presentation. Saber appears only for a few seconds at the beginning. :(
But I like the idea of showing Rider and the other's shadows moving in the city ^^
I hope the next ones will be better and that they won't repeat the same mistake as they did for Tsukihime (all that for that >_<).

I just wated the first eposide yesterday and thought it was a average start. The preview for the next epsoide looks like things will start to get interesting as we get to see Saber in her armour.
I thought the first episode was pretty good and I really want to see the next episode though I already read chapter 1 of Fate/Stay Night so I already know what happens. Well it seems like I found a replacement for Gundam Seed Destiny and Suzuka since they both finished :/.
Btw I heard that the game was a H-Game ain't it..

I just saw the first episode. Although a bit on the slow side, it was a good set up. I really liked Tsukihime so I hope Fate/Stay Night will be as good. Looking forward to seeing more episodes.
The first episode wasn't bad, as it's supposed to be it has simply introduced some of the characters. But I really liked Archer's entrance (a scene that's been reproduced exactly from the game) and his sarcastic remark. The only thing that bothers me is that Shiro's voice actor that dubbed characters from two series that I don't actually like (Naruto and Bleach), I'll let you figure out who they are. :P
Too bad Saber only had a short appearance in the first episode and will most probably be summoned in the second episode (based on the preview).
Pace is kinda slow but I'm expecting things to pick up. Looking forward to that battle which was shown in the ep02 preview.
What I am more exciited about is that the seiyuu for Saber is Kawasumi Ayako. She has garnered quite an impressive list of characters which she haas voiced in the past. Mahoro (*nods* *nods*), Lafiel (ohh...yeah!), Kurau and quite a lot more which I can see from ANN's seiyuu listing.
I guess more Saber is a good thing too.
-EDIT-
Mahou and KuroNeko have seem to also pick up FSN as their projects.
