WoW, Who plays it?
Im curious to know who here plays World of Warcraft. If you do, then what do you have as a character? Also, do you feel that it has taken over your life.
My charcter is a lvl 26 Hunter Dwarf. Im in the Haomarush (I think thats how you spell it) realm. No I dont feel that WoW has taken over my life.

I've played WoW and was on the Moonrunner server. Character is a Night Elf Druid...what level...I don't recall...but I don't play the game at this current time. WoW is addicting but not to the point of it taking over my life.
WoW is the devil...
I stopped playing it because it wasted too much of my time.
I have a 60 Und Priest on Arthas and another 3 other characters ranging from 30-59. I also have a 60 decked out NE Hunter on Cho'gall. But I stopped and have no intension of returning... WoW was like a second job for me, since the guild raided 5-6 nights a week for about 6 or so hours a night. Crazy.

Well I've got numerous alts. arounds the 20s but my main is a 60 Troll Shaman. Although I haven't played for about 3 months (taking a break until exp. pack gets out) I now feel the sudden urge to play again. You know the symptoms, constantly watching WoW-europe.com for news, doing talent calculations, specculating in the best gear for the perfect specc, downloading loads of PVP, story, comedy movies...I mean I think I'm soon going back in there.
Wow is a should be classed as highly addictive. You're in heaven while hell is going on outside. (in the form of a very anti-wow-tolerant mother)...
Peace out j00!

Meh... 26 night elf priest and then I lost my interest =/
I used to play, I quit though. Got kind of boring.
I had a level 43 Human Rogue on Khaz Modan.
Honestly, IMO, the game was too easy, as compared to most MMORPG's. I now play iRO (Ragnarok Online).
Fook WoW. ;_;

I've heard of so many people playing the game, and how time consuming it is.
But I'm very, very intrigued.
I think I might end up playing before long.
Anyone care to sum it up for me a little bit? :]

Blizzard basically set a new standard to most mmorpgs, and RP's... much like Oblivion & Morrowind for singleplayer. The game has thousands of quests which they do put a lot of story into (if you read the storyline), it has excellent character development, meaning depending on what you pick for skills and such will determine if your character is flawed or not in the end. They have lots of minor things to do, like cooking, crafting, mining, trait skills, etc. And a whole lot more, the game is really well done from other mmorpg's I've played.
It's a bit hard to compare, it's just fun. And with the large community, it make the game less boring over time.
Hahaha. I played for a while when the Chuck Norris trend is catching up. Damn, those days were hilarious.
I have a level 60 human mage on Jubei'Thos and have started an undead warlock(currently level 23) on Barthilas for the expansion, both oceanic realms. Had quite a handful of alts but too many to mention. I love PvP! World PvP is always fun, I have never been bored of it. Long unpredictable fights are what makes the game for me. But I'm not a ganker... I hate damn gankers >:(
WoW can take over your life if you allow it too. If you have free will, you can click the logout button at anytime you want to. I was just in a raiding guild recently. Raiding guilds take a lot of dedication in order to progress through the various dungeons. But I think the main reason people spend so much time raiding is because that is where the best gear in the game is. The better your gear is, the easier your WoW life will be both PvP and PvE.
Another reason WoW can be so addictive is the social community. I've made really good friends with some of the people I was contantly playing with to the point that I feel like I know them in real life. That was my main reason for playing, the great community I was apart of.

Dorobou - Rogue - Male - Undead - 60 - Archimonde
Sekai - Warrior - Male - Orc - 60 - Archimonde (Retired)
Betsuni - Mage - Female - Undead - 39 - Archimonde
Sachie - Druid - Male - Tauren -44 - Archimonde
and a 52 Female Human Warrior on Kul Tiras
I have at least 20 or 40 others on other servers, some are alliance and some are horde, but they are not above 31 :(
I PVP all the time on my 60's. Dorobou got the Warlord shoulders the day after the 2.0.1 Patch :P , Then he got the WSG wrist, AB Belt and Boots (already had the Lobo). Would get him the Warlord helm, Chest, and Gloves but im quiting soon. (pants would be WSG)
Sekai would have gotten the Warlord helm but he is retired.

I play WoW, i love it. It hasent really taken over my life, but when i play it feels like it had.
I have a level 53 Rogue on Silverhand. I love to roleplay, but not much people on Silverhand do even though its a RP server. I have a few other alts like a Warlock, Pally and a Druid but a Rogue is more fun.
I can't wait for Burning Crusade comes out, it looks so awesome.
