I think it really r0xx0rz! It makes all the text and images VERY easy on the eyes, it make EVERYTHING look soo soft!! Tell me your opinion! and if you don't have it....
Check it out @ Microsoft: Internet Explorer 7: downloads

Oh, right; the next gen of can of worms. And I bet MS will quit developing it as soon as they have over 90% of the markets, so no thanks. Instead, check it out @ Mozilla Firefox: Download or Opera: Download. :D
It actually looks promising... I remember looking at a review of IE7 beta, Firefox 2.0 alpha, and Opera (whatever their version they're going to, lol). I think it was PC Magazine and they rated IE7 better than the other two. Can't wait to try it out :)

Use IE and sooner or later your computer will slow down...
AP also recommend firefox, it's fast, save, easy and clean, lots of extensions and theme's.
So i prefer waiting for Firefox 2.0 then IE7

One nice feature of IE7 is the smart tabs where it shows your tabs in an index print style of layout.
I still use FF as my main browser, thought Opera seems to be faster.

Do you instantly have to go into asshole mode when someone says something that's in any way pro-Microsoft? Not only is IE7 is far more advanced than Firefox or Opera, he was just spreading some information. No need to shoot down his post just to nurture your hate for a corporation, which you seem to be using software from anyway.

Remember when I said "Stick it up to your ass and stow it?" Well, you still have some stowing to do. You see, everyone is entitled to their opinion and if you don't like it, don't read it. Besides, what do you expect me to do; shut up or invent some positive sides just to please you?
...Aaand back on topic: what does IE7 really have what others do not?

IE came out with something new? Wow. I hear FireFox is so much better, yet more things work with IE.
Ugh i hate IE, firefow is so much better and cleaner. Personally i find that firefox runs smoother than IE and for soem reason IE takes forever to load sometimes
MS really need to do a better job
what i like to see is advanced intergration like ILife on mac and the entire Creative Suite bundle

See, I don't mind you having an opinion - in fact I think it's great. However, it seems to me that every time you open your mouth (metaphorically, that is), a torrent of tripe spews out. I mean, are you not capable of expressing an opinion without making derogatory remarks about the other side? You seem to base your entire opinion on faulting the side you're not on.
You're clearly not informed of the additions IE7 has to offer - plus it's in Beta stages now and people might want to give it a trial run (which, pretty clearly was the point of this post), yet you come in, take a shot at Microsoft, then recommend something else. Fine, you have a software preference, but that has nothing to do with the thread - it's just you being an asshole.
By the way, you have a superfluous semi-colon in both posts you made in this thread. To live up to your namesake, Mr. "Wordplay," please start using them properly.

MS never planned on releasing IE7, but Firefox upped the ante. IE6 was supposed the be the last stand alone browser release and that came out a long long time ago. MS is trying, so I give them some credit for that.
IE is the only platform you can run ActiveX on, so some people will be stuck with it for web-based apps.

I think it's fairly obvious they would have launched IE7 regardless, however it probably wouldn't be the same product had they not had Firefox not stolen away an actual portion of their share.

Says the one who begins with phrases like this:
Do you instantly have to go into asshole mode
your lips are flappin' but nothing intelligible is coming out.
I never critisize people, but matters. There is a difference between calling Mr. "X" an asshole and calling tool "Y" crap -you should know that. Plus, comparison between IE7 and a can of worms isn't even harsh, so why the uproar? PM me if you really want to go through this in detail. I won't continue this here.
You derailing topics and me calling you on it are two completely different things. The only posts you've made that I've bothered to reply to either a) made baseless arguments that had little to do with the threads or b) contested the opinion of either me, or someone else in the thread in an acrid manner. It's not like I'm singling your posts out because I don't like you (I don't, but that's beside the point). I admit, I tend to get acerbic rather quickly, however you're doing you're part as well. If you stop being so damned cynical and vitriolic about everything, I'll stop being an asshole towards you. Simple as that.
