Evolution VS Intelligent Design

Man...this is a hard topic to answer. I think that it should be evolution theory and intelligent design should be taught in the same class. Yeah...yall problably thinking...(but it has nothing to do with each other). Well, I say teach them in the same class and cancel all classes teaching about evolution or intelligent. :o) Im just dreaming.

If evolution can't be taught, then how can biology class teach about Microevolution (Speciation, Adaptations, etc...)? If you are flat out denying things like that organisms can't adapt or new species can't form (speciation), then... you really need to go to a biology class... -_-
Yeah. okay. background on me... I'm an atheist, but I do read a lot of christian books just to get a broader view.
So. if we can't teach evolution, we cannot understand biology, but if we don't teach theology, then we are too narrow-minded. I think that because evolution is the base, it should be taught.. and because theology may be taught in such a way that would change the mind of younglings, parents don't necessarily like that.
sooo... but once you get to the college level.. or even high school level, you should be curious enough by yourself to explore. now. if anyone stops you from doing that, then that's bad. but .. just.. yeah. think about this for a moment. irreducible complexity. look at the complex mechanisms governing how we function at the biochemical level. too many factors... if we were to follow darwinian model of evolution, if any one of these biochemical systems were to miss a piece, it would not function at all. Sooo.. step by step evolution cannot happen at the micro level. just something to think about. =)

Microevolution is "step by step" (looking at the small picture) evolution. If a biochemical system is missing a piece, nature (meaning physical and chemical laws) will replace it, one way or another. Just because a person doesn't accept or wants to be taught theology DOES NOT MEAN that person is narrow minded. I don't want to be taught theology, but that does not mean I am narrow minded.
BTW, there are more theories of evolution than Darwin's theory. (More modern, and better ones) Just take a Evolutionary Biology course or something..
