How much money do you spend on anime?
This last summer I bought three animes. I got them everyother week. So it came to about $100 total because they were on sale. I have about 11 animes right now. I definately need more, I just need the money. I have already spent over $300 just for the animes I have. How much do you guys spend?
Hmm wow way more than I'd like to think about...I probably spend about 300 bucks a month on anime and just as much on manga. Thankfully I try to be a smart buyer, I tend to go for box sets or series that I know I've seen (downloaded online ^^) so I know I like them. I don't want to end up spending some hard earned money on a series that I might end up hating! LOL

I would say that over the course of my collecting, I have spent close to $2000. I do try to stick with box sets and tried and true series that I am sure I will like, but I do have some crappy stuff that I bought on a whim.
Well, I don't spend much on anime boxsets or DVDs (spend most of my money on concert DVDs and CDs)

I spend over 500 US dollars on anime every year, mostly at cons, so I can get the most for my dollar.
Around 20 for internet connection.
I spend absolutely nothing!
I hate to buy anime. I figure that eventually I can always find it for free on the internet or just ask one of my friends if they would send it to me. I have other things I can spend money on, and anime isn't a luxury I can splurge on at the moment.
Well..actually i'm doing the design cover for the one of anime company, so sometimes i can ask them to give me to see or sometimes hav to buy also..hehe

I usually spend around 200 euros per month for animes dvds, mangas, pvc figures, artbooks.
I don't really spend that much. My parents for some reason really dislikes anime and thinks that buying anything anime-related is a waste of money. They would freak out at me if they see a new manga on my bookshelf or a new DVD so I tend not buy them unless I really want them. That leads me to spend only about $30 dollars a year.
Ow men...Everyone must be great anime freaks...In Indonesia, anime is so rare...I usually buy comics...The best record I have in buy comics is 88.000 rupiahs...Umm...Maybe like 11 AUS ( australian ) dollars^^;...My parents won't give me any money if I dare to spent more than that...
About the vcds...1 vcd cost arround 10.000 rupiahs...I don't have any vcd coz I can wait for my sis who study aboard...She usyally bought the original dvd from the country she studied^^So, it is unnecessary to buy lots of vcds here hehehhe...

Hundreds of animes over a time span of 10 years, with varying prices for the animes... It's impossible to calculate! Both my brother and I must have spent thousands of dollars on anime by now.
This doesn't even include the animes that I download or watch online, which is the majority of my anime collection...
Not to mention the manga as well. In the last 6 months I spent about 300-400 on mangas alone...
Wow... Just think how much richer I'd be if I didn't spend any money on animes or mangas...

I am not sure actually...I dont really have much anime in the first place...only a few box sets and many miscelleanous ones.Converted from my currency to USD,it's about 200++ USD...So..you can guess how little I have.My parents are not anime supporters anyways.They think its a waste of money.
Well,I have never bought an anime because it's really expensive, and its really hard to find animes that I'm sure I'll like. I either download, or borrow form video library. but I buy all my mangas (bleach 1-13, hellsing 1-7, FMA1-8 chrono crusade 1-8,trigun 2)
