Multi tasking while watching anime?
Does everyone JUST watch while watching anime or do you do other things to get more out of your time? i usually do weights while watching anime and then when i see really buff people in anime (full metal alchemist armstrong) it motivates me to work out more.
I'm on the computer and watching anime.

Well, if I have to do something but can't miss an anime, I do that thing and watch anime at the same time but, as much as I can, I want to just watch it without doing anything, it makes it more worthwhile that way.
I have a tendency to draw when I'm bored while watching it, but then I have to rewind all the time because I miss what they say in the subs. Missing the subtleties and the generic info subbers put in is a bad thing.
Some day when we've watched so much anime that we're able to watch without subtitles we may be able to simply watch anime 24/7
I eat, work out, or do home work while watching anime. I get so much done when i do. I don't think I'll be able to watch anime 24/7 or watch it without subtitles. But, we'll see. Maybe I can learn Japanese.

I eat while watching anime..
I live my life completely in multi-task mode.
While doing coursework, I'm talking with friends, listening to music, watching TV and reading.
While in class, I usually talk to someone else, read and think while listening to the teachers lecture.
While watching anime, I usually read, talk with friends and watch TV (watch anime on my computer).
If I do anything else, it's almost always with music and the TV on. Even while getting ready for bed and actually waiting for sleep (I'm a long time insomniac) I usually read, plan for the day ahead, think about various things, play with my cats and listen to music.
I've pissed off plenty of people, my parents included, with my 'talents' at being able to multi-task. I can't simply do 1 thing at one time, it's too hard.

Well for me its pretty hard, having to read subs, and take in the animation while doing something else that requires my eyesight is kinda hard, normally the max ill do is eat. if its an english anime i "might" do something else like homework during, but no normally i'll either sit about 2 feet from the screen, or lie on top or underneath(underneath blankets i mean) my bed 3 feet away from screen(small room, hdtv:D, 16 inch:( )
Yes, I do multi-tasking while watching anime. Reading the subs comes first then underneath the video window, I am converting and burning videos. ^^ Sometimes, I also chat with my friends... but consequence is I don't understand the anime and will just stop watching it and rewatch later. XD
When watching anime, i can't do any other things
i would pay all my attention on it as i don't 1 2 miss any interesting part...
however
i can multitasking
when watching movies and tv drama
-- i hv my lunch/dinner
-- i do household chores like washing dishes and plates, sweeping the floor...
when playing on9 games
-- i listen 2 music, chat with frens through msn and even argue with my little brother :P
when surfing the nets like AP, online games official websites
-- i check my mail, chat with frens, listening music...
overall
i just can't stand 2 do other activities when watching my favourite tv programme ^_^

Normally (when is interesting ) i don't even eat what its on my hands...XDD
but well..no multitasking unless is a filler (if the filler is realy boring and i have something to do on the pc i do it while watching the anime, but if it isn't a filler normaly i don't do anything else)
i'm used to eat but..eat and watch anime i don't consider it multi-task XD

If I really, really like the show and it's my first time watching---I try my best to pay dire attention. If I've seen it a few times and just 'wanna see that really cool part' then I'll talk on the phone or play on my computer.
