Will you change yourself for just ONE person?
So im just thinkin that people these days are so idiot!they just change themselves for just one person..what is the importance?does we really need it?i mean if someone asks you to change yourself for him/her will you do it?if that person is really right or he/she is very important for you??or will you just you know dont care what other people say bcoz its YOU and they can never be YOU.
as for me..i dont know.it depends i think.i mean if what he/she like to change to me really affect other people and my relationships to them then why not BUT for just one person?

It may just be one person, but when someone mentions a fault to you its often something quite true that no one else mentions to you! If the persons words are right and there are obvious flaws in my character I find it hard not to change without a guilty conscience. On the other hand, if that person is giving a pointless suggestion or is asking me to change when there is absolutely nothing wrong with me than yeah, there is something wrong with that and I wouldn't change myself for just that one stupid suggestion!

As for me, it depends. I think there must be a good reason why that person asks you to change...and if that is there's something wrong with you. It's pointless to change yourself for no reason at all.
I don't mind if I'm going to change myself...but not just for one person. If that would improve my personality then why not? Well, what matters for me is how you interact with other people.

It depends on what they are asking me to change. If I know that they are trying to get me to change for good reason then I would do my best to change.
Only under the most extreme of circumstances will I ever change my person for another. This can be defined as losing a best friend, becoming close to your significant other, or if the commonwealth feel that it is best for the people. For me, those are the only scenarios where a change in personality is just.
The only artists I have ever known, who are personally delightful, are bad artists. Good artists exist simply in what they make, and consequently are perfectly uninteresting in what they are. A great poet, a really great poet, is the most unpoetical of all creatures. But inferior poets are absolutely fascinating. The worse their rhymes are, the more picturesque they look. The mere fact of having published a book of second-rate sonnets makes a man quite irresistible. He lives the poetry that he cannot write. The others write the poetry that they dare not realize.
It really depends on the person and the situation but some people will never change whatever you say to them. For me, I will only change the negative things in me. I like what I am today and no one is gonna tell me what to change and what to do. I will accept what they are if they accept who I am....

Wow. This is going to sound really redundant but, it depends. First off, it would have to be for someone very close and important to me. Second, it depends on what he/she wants to change about me. If were to stop living like a slob, then yes, I would change. But, if was like, giving up anime, then not a chance. Never. Still, there is still that I would change that part of me. about a 99% chance I won't give up anime for someone.

I would depend who it was but if I didn't know them soo incredibly well I wouldn't do it... infact I don't think I'd ever change for someone else, if this person was the a friend then they should accept me as who I am... (I know, I'm cold and dark and evil) but if it were for a partner... unlikely, they should like me as I am as well anyway.
Also it would depend on how I was going to change for them, if it was completely unreasonable (eg. change into some bloodthirsty assassin) I wouldn't even consider it.

Well I don't think its that silly of a concept. But there are two things to consider:
1) depends on how special that person is to you
2) what do you plan to change about yourself
An obvious example would be a mother who is addicted to either of the following, drugs, alcohol, gambling etc. to change herself so that she can be there for her child seems perfectly rational.
But in other regards like dressing a certain way or doing certain activities to hang out with friends that you don't feel comfortable doing, then yes it is silly because if those people don't like you as you are, they aren't really your friends right?

It depends on two things, what I have to change and who the person that wants me to change is. If the person is really, really special to me someone I love more than anything. If I am asked to change something that I admit isn´t really good I could consider change myself. But I would never change myself totally.

For what, love, friendship? *Shakes my head* Why? Just be yourself to everyone. Everyone should accept how you're. No need to change for one person.

I'm so orginal! It depends! XD On how big the change is, and how much I love the person asking. And the reason, too >< So much like everybody else I guess. Tho I'm never going to be a gangster or whatever, but small personality changes is fine :)
