After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Has anyone else seen this anime? its an award winning anime and they made a live action movie for it...which im desperately looking for if anyone has one with english subs...anyways heres a small description of the anime...and i believe there are torrents all over the place if you wish to check it out...i love this anime its so different than big boobed chicks with guns and flying robot ninjas!

--------------------------------------------

The story features ubiquitous creatures called Mushi that often display supernatural powers. Mushi are described as beings in touch with the essence of life, far more basic and pure than the grotesque creatures we are accustomed to. Due to their ephemeral nature most humans are incapable of perceiving Mushi and are oblivious to their existence, but there are a few who possess the ability to see and interact with Mushi. The Mushi depicted in the anime look very similar to floaters.

One such person is Ginko (ギンコ, Ginko?), the main character of the series. He employs himself as a Mushi master (蟲師, mushi-shi?), travelling from place to place to research Mushi and aid people suffering from problems caused by them. The series is an episodic anthology in which the only common elements among episodes are Ginko and the various types of Mushi. There is no over-arching plotline.

--------------------------------------------

The live action movie was made by none other than...Katsuhiro Otomo, famous for creating the print and film versions of Akira! So its a definate watch for me...if i can find it.

So, has anyone else even heard of this anime?

Mushishi is definitely one of the most original anime I had ever seen! The sceneries are beautiful and the drawings are breathtakinly done. I love the fact that it combines Asian beliefs, superstitions, myths and legend to create a world of mushi(s). I would recommend this anime to anyone who is looking for something different. Mushishi is an eye opener and visual feast much deserving to watch.

Sorry i don´t speak english

Saludos

I've watched this anime and fell deeply in love with the atmosphere of this story......

The music of MUSHISHI is really amazing, they used different background music in each episode, and the opening song is also great!!

The original broadcast time was around 25:00, which means in the midnight. The work team of MUSHISHI were applied themselves to make this anime be an anime for everyone who was awake in the midnight. They have made this anime like, whether you have seen this Manga or not, you can always enjoy watching this anime.

The movie of MUSHISHI is interesting, too. The stories were mixed and arranged make me feel quite different from the original stories.
I still love the anime more (cuz of the music :D), and I have to say that this work is so out of the common!!

I've followed this anime since it was first aired in Japan. It's absolutely gorgeous and I wished that it would become more popular than it was.

It was difficult for me to impress the greatness of this series onto others when Bleach and Naruto have become so mainstream with many people expecting most anime to be of the like.

It's beautifully animated with rich backgrounds and gorgeous music.

I ended up loving bugs so much more after watching this.

The story of mushishi is really very unique and attractive.
Besides that, I also have to commend it music, it's really good,
and make the anime more attractive.

However, the comment of movie was not so good.
In anime or comic, the topic is focused on "Mushi" , Ginko is just like a narrator.
But somebody who had seen the movie think that the topic of the movie
is focused on the leading man "Ginko".

I had not seen the movie, so I can't do any comment for movie,
but the anime is really really nice.

Yes, Mushishi is one of my top 5 anime. The Soundtrack is just soothing and relaxing, it is great. The animation and artwork is superb it's amazing just to watch. Each episode has its own story which is engaging and interesting, and its fun to watch as Ginko solves them. He is one of my favourite characters as well, contrasts a lot from the characters in other anime.

I haven't really seen the anime nor the live-ation, but I have read the manga, and it is a must read.
Perhaps I should get onto watching the anime soon.
