Second attempt at a wallpaper: TRC
Hmm... I like it! The overall feeling of this wall is very clean, very serene and you obviously have a lot of potential. The scan of Sakura has a straight edge on the top-right, though, which you should try shift up or even try redrawing yourself. I would definitely suggest changing the glow color you used (did you use one?) - the blue-gray would look better if its hue was more similar to the color scheme.
I like the shadowing you've done, but I don't really get your pillows. They don't exactly look very much like pillows, and the bedspread doesn't look much like a bedspread. You should try to clarify this - maybe find alternate photos? Or maybe you should find an anime-style bedspread scan to merge in instead. At the moment the coloring and everything of the background make it feel very much like one of those aged papers with the dried leaves and flowers on them, and dried leaves below Sakura and Syaoran. That's kind of pretty as well, so you might want to work with that concept instead, and perhaps add more variety in the pattern at the back.
I'm really looking forward to how this will turn out - good luck!

Let's see...
first of all, nice idea
then..you should clean up the scans more, quite a ton of artifacts there.
extraction need MAJOR cleanup
i see cutoffs all around and some places unextracted. did you use the pen tool?
http://www.imanimetions.net/tutorial/tutorial.php?view=extract
the bg looks too real
to me, i don't think a bed really fits though. because the way that the characters are set up kinda looks like they're outside, enjoying the sun, i suggest doing a pic-nic bg, where there are food baskets near by and they're on top of a spread sheet sort of^^ you get my drift?

Oh, okay! i dunno if i have enough knowledge to do it, but i'll give it a try! thanx^_^
Yep, you've got to work on the extraction...in the upper right section of the scan you can see that the image is cut off, i guess that you'll have to redraw that =S....
there's some artifacting in the scan......
good luck!

Hahaha, well, i tried to incorporate the picnic theme, and well, i don't know how to make a picnic basket from a bird's eye point of view, so the wallpaper is rather plain, and i don't really know how to make the characters sharper. i dunno, i think they're pretty sharp already^_^ well, plz comment on this one, i just hope it's not getting worse, lol. thanks everyone!!

Waii~ I really like it! ^^
after you change the elements of the wallpaper, I'm still think that the first one still the best...
but the first one need something on the bg, added some texture or pattern there...
the second one, the bg looks dont really match the wall, the color i think... But I like the bg you used there...
the third one, the bg doesnt looks match. maybe you can remove the grid lines there...

First thing i noticed is the grass, don't have the grass brushes going up because it ruins the wall and the scenery of it. then, i don' tlike the texture much, try a different texture. I'll help you look for one inthe meantime. although i don' tknow if i'll get to it. I'll try!
the grass falling into the picnic blanket is kinda uniformed. the blanket is too blurred
make it sharper.
a picnic basket from bird's eye view i'm guessing would just be, like a reactangle with a straight line across, maybe just a little round, as the basket handle, i guess what's important in this piece is that the textures are right. make sure the textures are good and reallly spend alot of time looking for it.
Don't make the blanket edges blurred either. This is gonna be pretty difficult to do ( i just realized)
because , for being on a bed, it can't be just shadows, there must be dark outlines in the shadows.
there needs to be dents.

here's a wp/scan, i'm not sure if this is a good example or not, but hopefully i'll be able to find a better example.

The shadow seems kinda off? the edges are too sharp
I like the last one with the blanket the most, but the checkerboard-like pink lines are parallel to the screen sides. Try rotating that layer a bit. The first one has the "plant"-like ornaments too regularly one above another, more randomness perhaps. I really think that all of them are good now.

yea, i'm still really new to using the grass brush, and i don't know how to make it really nice, any tips or tutorials you might know of?
For this wall, a good texture will really make a difference, there's not much you can do with a grass brush, well, unless there's tons of wind,...o.o
but from the top view, you really can't see individual grass brush strokes so, i wouldn't recommend a brush.
However, you can add in flowers and such to make it more like a bird'seye view and more interesting^^
