This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

I've seen anime since the very beginning of my life. Seriously. Mexico airs a lot of anime. But what really got me into it was one of the innumerable anime magazines published in my country. I don't read it anymore because, after watching many series, I realized how inaccurate it was. I bet I know more about anime than those guys do =_= Didn't mean to offend mexican publishers; the anime magazines in there are just incredibly awesome! ^o^

I've been into anime for as long as I can remember. The first anime I watched was Sailor Moon...I think. Any way, at the time, I didn't even know what anime was. When I saw Sailor Moon, I just happen to like how it was drawn and the story and started to watch other shows like it. What really got into anime was InuYasha. It made me want to watch more and more....so here I am now. I guess I've always been attracted to anime even before I knew what it was.

I was in 6th grade...people had a shonen jump with Luffy on the cover doing that weird thumbs up and face...i thought he was the official mascot for shonen jump like that mad magazine kid...then i read some and was like...OHMYGOHD....WHY HAVE I NEVER SEEN STUFF LIKE THIS...my friend brought lots of shonen jumps and mangas for me to read...my first graphic novel was Shaman King volume 1...and now i have thousands of dollars of anime stuff...i'll never be able to afford a real house and life if i keep spending like this...

How did I get into anime...I think I was about 11...? I used to frequent a forum when the webmaster was anime nuts and was always ranting about anime this, anime that.

Well. :0 Being curious I looked into it.

My first was Love Hina. >_>

I've always watched anime since I was a kid. The first anime I watched was Robotech at age 7 or so. But the anime that made me become such a die-hard anime fan was "Ranma 1/2" aired on 1998 overhere, I was 14 years old or so. My sis was a Ranma freak and eventually I started watching it too, I was captivated by it, to say the least.

I remember seeing one episode of Sailor Moon when I was like 12 or so... that got me interested. I have been watching anime since then. Thought the genre I like changed quite a lot since then XD.
