Home School or Public School?

Hello this is SanzosGirl with a not so serious question I want to no if you could chose between public school or homeschool which one would you pick.I for one am homeschooled and I love it.I don't have to worry about fitting in I can eat what ever I want and I'm way smarter then the avrage 16 year old.So maybe I don't get to get that whole "High School experance" but I love being alone and doing things at my own pace.So tell me which one you would chose.

I would say public school because since I experienced it I know that if it wasn't for public school I would have never met all the people I know now. It may be hard sometimes fitting in and stuff but that's not a big issue to me.

Public schooling is fine by me. It's the best way to meet new people your age, which sounds odd but true.
While home-schooled students have easier work most of the time and get more spare time, it's difficult for them to get together with new people.

If you are blessed to have someone that can devote their time to you and are able to help you to excel quicker. I say more power to you. But for people like myself I think being home with my mom would have drove me mad. Given that I am naturally anti-social I think it would be better for me to be out at High school sometimes.

I would prefer to go to home schooling, at least you wouldnt have to deal with the pressures of public high school teens. though if i were given the choice of going to public school or being homeschooled, i would still choose to go to public school, since i would actually be experiencing what issues and pressures and such that public school kids deal with. and i think that its a good thing to see those sort of things that teens go through.
though i can see that homeschooling has more advantages since you can go at your own pace and someone is there every step of the way to help. but for me public schooling is fine with me.

I'd rather be home schooled, to get away from the pressure of school, get away form the people who hate anime at school *shudders*

High school definately. I think that learning how to deal with other people is part of growing up. You have to learn how to deal with peer pressure, cliques, and the very fine balance of knowing when you should tell on someone and when you're being just a stupid tattle tale. And you have to go off to college sometime right? And college really isn't the time to learn how to make friends. And in anycase High school is a lot of fun and is a chance to get away from being stuck at home all day long. ^^

Public school definitely provides some important opportunities to develop social skills. However, if you found other such opportunities, and if your tutor(s) are competent, home schooling could work well.
...ive been in home school and also public school...but i rather choose public school...i can make loads of new buddies as well as getting to know the outside world...yeah your mayb rite that your smarter but then again, which is better? being smarter but yet lacks of knowing the world or both?...

if it wasn't for high school you wouldn't be able to handle it in the real world when people beat on you and abuse you

Public school because it is fun than staying home alone. At school, you have friends and you will know more. C'om social.
Public school. i need to socialize =_= i get so bored staying at home already and getting home schooled means staying at home even MORE! X____X
