White Day
I heard of this awhile ago and that it was a Japanese tradition but I do not recall exactly how it goes.
It is a holiday closely tied to Valentine's Day. For more information visit :

Why the heck did they modify Valentine's Day to make it a time for women to give stuff to guys? Then they had to make up a new holiday to compensate. Odd.
I suppose it's a good excuse to have another three day weekend.

I would think that this is more fair for the male sex...there is female equality now, so instead of being accused of wanting to stay in the mental thinking where the men must always do this for a girl...they can always say to them that this is the day. I also would think that it's a lot more like if there's a real popular guy to just know that there's comepition...doesn't make sense...but there was one episode in Fruits Basket that talked abou tthis concept.

I must admit I always did like Sadie Hawkins Day at school.
I miss saint white day...they don't have it here in america..i have to wait til next year. i love saint white day cuz it's almost like a competition for the girls too at my school

White day is cool because the guys have to give the presents to the girls that gave them choclate on valetine's day...
the good thing for guys is that it doesn't have to be dsome big expensive present, but they do have to give every girl that gave them chocolate a gift. Smart guys would right down the names of all the girls that gave them something.
White day is held one month after valetine's day, march 13th.
but make sure you don't hang around japan during valentine's day either because all the chocolate shops are always over crowded and really expensive during that time.....

I knew it was a tradition but I always got the gift giving part wrong >_<. As in who gives who on what day.
On valantines day in japan, guys like it better when the girls make the chocolate by scatch.

I would love for America to celebrate White Day, so that girls like me have an excuse to give guys chocolate on valentine's day, and then boys give chocolate to girls on white day lol ^_^ because usually we only view valentine's day as a day for lovers, so I feel like I can't give chocolates to a guy on valentine's day without them getting the idea that i like them >_< lol
Too bad I've never seen that done in America...haha. Or else I'd get more chocolate to get hyper off from. :)

During valentine's day the girls give chocolates to the guy.
on white day, the guys give something back to the girls (it's exactly a month later, 14th march)
i think it's a cool holiday=)
