Normally when they send back a paper they also send the reason why, if you put em up, it will be alot easyer for us to tell you. My main gues for now is the background, why dont keep the same background / theme as the screenshot?
It might be the backround , what did you use to make the backround .

It is pretty good, but it was probably rejected because the background incorporates, for the most part, only one element - stars. There is some brushing, but its hardly noticeable. I disagree with the rejection, but it was probably because of the overuse of stars and not much else.
Mmmmmmm i like that paper, its nice and its confortable to the eyes but maybe all those stars made it plain and ruined the whole thing......you got something good there, relax, reflex, and think about some ideas to make it better.....
The little dots.. There's just too many of them. Keep this vector wall as simple as possible..

Okay took out some stars and made the vector outline darker. How is this:

The second vector looks a lot better with the darker outline. The fewer stars also looks better. Maybe try changing the styles of the stars by using a few different star brushes and change up the intensities of the yellow. Make some brighter, others darker, etc. Other than that, I think it's a great concept you have going.

Ack, that wallpaper was good. I have no idea why they rejected it. yes, someone from the staff does send you a private message saying why it got rejected. But truthfully, I think it shoul've been accepted [:
