Hm... in my opinion, the text is okay but needs major adjustments. First, you might want to try changing it to a shade of blue and lowering the opacity. Then you should switch the layers around so that the layer with the text on it is below the image. You might also want to change the font, because it kind of looks out of place right now. A more elegant cursive font like Carpenter ICG would probably work better.
